I am reading Knife right now. Iti is a highly intimate and personal book. Mr. Rushdie takes us right into the innermost sanctum of his life, which is a very brave thing to do. It is the second book by Mr. Rushdie that I am reading. The first was Satanic Verses. I found nothing in that book that was cause to call for anyone's murder. It was a wonderful, dreamlike fantastical book which I found challenging but rewarding.
