The Japanese were very hands-off with the english dub. They weren't allowed to change any of the Ghost names nor any character names. Beyond that, the sky was the limit, especially in 2001.

You can’t just go to Europe and stay there permanently. It depends on the visa they applied for. As a tourist, you can only stay for the time they give you. It depends on the type of visa you applied for.

The high fences were installed in UK football grounds because of invasions of pitches & battles between fans on many earlier occasions. After Hillsborough this policy was reversed & all such fencing was removed. The stands were made to be all seated, with stricter control of entrances etc. There has been some call for a return to standing stands, & a few have been allowed in limited places, but is unlikely to become the norm again. Perhaps some Liverpool fans behaved badly, but not those who died or suffered injury. The poor stadium design, especially the few gates & lack of escape routes, seems to have more to do with it. The football clubs involved in the game were responsible for safety & security at the match. They had to hire the police & other security staff for the event, & it seems to me that there were too few available for the job on that day. Also the access for emergency vehicles, such as the ambulances, was not good enough, with 40 or more showing up to the site, but unable to reach the stricken fans. This is also a stadium management responsibility. The high fencing seems badly conceived & installed, so I guess that's part of the stadium management problem, or maybe it's the Governments fault for passing the law that made such fences mandatory. Or maybe it's the generations of football fans that turned a game into a sort of warfare, with battles between rival groups, pitch invasions & general hooliganism.

I understand that politics can be a bit tiresome. But if you're so fortunate to live in a democracy and have the freedoms that comes with that. Then here is something to think about. When you stop caring it will go away, just like that. Pay attention and vote. It's maybe 30 minutes out of your day on average. That's a very low price to pay for freedom imo.

you are not allowed to step into the 6m circle in the act of shooting. the refs will call off the attempt if you step inside or on the line while taking off. if you touch the ground before the ball has left your hand its a violation and the posession is given to the other team. however, this is generally not enforced on top level competition as long as it is not too obvious, like travelling or carrying in the NBA. but your goal will be called off in lower leagues and youth competition.

@@fedugalerreacts you do see chopper’s development over the arcs, becoming less frightened & more courageous. Especially in the water 7 & Enis Lobby arcs & especially past the time skip he starts to embrace how people see him as a monster. He did revert back to his whiny scared self in thriller bark, but let’s be honest what reasonable person wouldn’t be scared seeing a walking talking skeleton on a ghost ship or a bunch of zombies on a haunted island? Hell most people are scared of spiders 🕷️ and they are far less scary than zombies

Minute 19:40 - The biggest problem with Americans is the word "socialism". Americans mainly don't know the difference between "Comunism", "Socialism", "Democratic socialism" and "Social democracy", calling all of them "socialism" and spitting on them without even looking at them. There isn't a single country in Europe that can be called "socialist" We can say that in Europe we have primarly Social democracies here Let's take the most clear example: Scandinavia (I'm not from there, I'm Italian, but Scandinavia is the best example) They have the HIGHEST number of very rich private company owners (own 30M+ dollars) per person of the ENTIRE WORLD (more than American riches per person rate), thus a pretty capitalistic free economy based country. But they have a thing that is called "Social net": universal health care, universal free education up the highest level, 4 weeks of 100% paid vacation per year, 30 weeks of 100% paid parental leave, strong unions that keep the minimum wage at high level (more than double than minimal wage in US) and other "social" protection for the weaks You see? It's a clearly capitalistic free economy based country, but has got also benefit and protection for workers and families You can have universal health care, universal free education, workers unions and other "socialist" good things, without being a "socialist country"

Minute 27:43 - "The land of the free". Now, let's end this. In all European countries constitutions, there are the same basic rights written in your constitution: freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of expression, freedom of religion and so on... simply because some of those constituions were written before US was even a thing (let alone be a country and have a constitution) and you used them as an example to write yours, but you "forgot" to put in your constituion some rights we have in ours: rights to be cured, right to be educated, right to have a roof on your head. So, technically, we have all of the rights US grants to its citezen, but we have some more rights that are considered benefits or luxuries in US So, techincally, we have more rights than you... we are more free than you. United Nations commisioned in 2022 an research about press freedom and rated US press freedom at 55th palce in the world, after every single weastern wealthy country You have one of the higests incarceration rate (number of incarcerated people each 1000 inahabitants), worse than some dictatorships countries and surely worse than any industrialized country You're not "the land of the free", you're not in the top 10 anymore since decades Americans need to shut down their ego, because until you continue to belive that "US is the best country in the world" you'll act like there isn't anything that can be done better. You can instead admit that you simply messed up nearly everything, look at other countries that figured it out since decades and learn what you can do to become a decent country

Minute 8:36 - It's not "a kid playing in the fron yard", it's a kid that meet their friend and they go together fow a 10-15 minutes walk to the sports facilities, or to the city park. That's the difference between most European countries and US. Kids swarm around the city and the suburbs to their favorite activity, because "child kidnapping" or "violence on kids" is not an issue here

Minute 6:36 - Basic cops don't carry guns, that's it. If something requires a cop with guns they call the specifi police department with guns trained police officers to come by, but they usually don't go around the city except some squads near sensible targets in sensible days (like if an important politician from another country come to visit and must be escorted)

He has been thinking about one piece since he was a child, but I do think he thought of the core concept of the one piece during the serialization of the manga itself(the first 2 prototypes of the manga didn't even have the treasure one piece and shanks didn't exist). He's always been a fan of the seafaring concept, because of the cartoon Vicky the Viking. As you might have noticed, in real life Vikings are a type of pirate as well. A lot of norse mythology is also in One Piece. I think the main thing with Eichiro Oda is that when he has an idea he will try to find a way to bring it into his story, that's the reason it's so long, he's never afraid to bring new ideas. It's a strength to have lots of imagination but it's also a weakness because there will be some unwanted fluff in the story as well. anyways good video, love seeing fans of One Piece
