Man, we have been sleeping on the bile bombs. I think we just assumed they would suck like the others, but then we used it last night just because and were impressed. So then I came here to learn more........we havent discovered flametal yet so im a little bummed about that spoiler haha, but i do know i never would have thought about throwing a basalt bomb into the lava i dont think, we would have ended up building a bridge or something

Most enjoyable d2 vid I've ever seen.

I feel like D2R became WAY too easy now with all the sunder charms and many new, extremely powerful build options. Spearzon was never a thing because... Infinity could only be made in polearms in the old game and every javelin/SPEAR skills required a... well a javelin or a spear. Also, impale was crappy earlier as well. But now, every character can just dogwalk through the game with a decent gear. Sunder charms took away all the planning from the base game where you had to adjust your build accordingly against possible immunes. I think we desperately need a new act or new difficulty now because this is just way too easy nowadays.

I managed to find a fortress with some ground near the edge just high enough for me to jump onto the ballista and I was able to siege it on foot without the need to break down the door. Now I've got myself an untouched fortress I'm super hyped to build. Great build I'm definitely taking some inspiration from it

I was very surprised when you started beating Izual for a long time. In the elite configuration, you have to destroy it very quickly, even if there are bugs. The problem with the bug appears only at uber levels. If the equipment is elite, then quickly destroying Lilith, Duriel and Izual will not be a problem. It will be problematic to destroy the bosses in uber Tristram. But if you know how to fight the bug, you can do it quickly. I have a video where I destroyed uber bosses in Tristram in a record 6.5 seconds - this is an absolute record for the speed of destroying bosses in uber Tristram.

it's so strange to see large amounts of people on the subreddit refuse to use these fortresses as their base because they think it's cheesy. i never knew people placed such arbitrary restrictions on themselves when playing games, even to the point of struggling mightily. i just turn on the game and play it.

I built my spearzon based off your build. Once she’s even just half geared up, she makes this game seem like easy mode. I think she’s actually my favorite. Feels less cheesy than a lightning or nova sorc.
