With a bullet serve and lashing forehand, it's surprising that Billy hadn't at least gone top 50 years ago. Impressive performance and hope he can go further in this tourny and has a favourable draw, at Wimbledon...

Alcaraz for me is a very up and down player! He will win a few GS but there are to many young guys around now for him to dominate. He wont have it all his own way as he thought. He has a lot to learn the continued fist pumps after every point is very childish and disrespectful. Nadal does the same.

I love the way Jack didn't explode with joy straight away. Very dignified approach to the net, cordial handshake and once Alcaraz had gone to his chair THEN he leapt with joy. Class act Jack 👍

In an expected career of about 20 without major injuries, at a performance of 3 grand slams every 6 years, he will probably end up winning about 9 or 10 grand slams. Far from the records of the Big Three.

Sinner is ranked #1, and Alcaraz is ranked #2, so in all probability they will be seeded #1 and #2 going into any major tournament. This means that they can only meet in the finals. YW! 😀😀

1. Love Sir Andy - and he's one of the greatest in the most recent generation 2. Hope he doesn't keep me on the edge of my seat with grueling 5-setters not knowing if he is going to win! 3. Would love Draper to win Wimbledon one day of course! 4. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Oh please, Jack Draper has more natural talent in his little finger than murray has in his whole body. Murray is just a good 'Pusher' scrambling around the baseline waiting for the opponent to make an error

@ddjr6673
@ddjr6673 Күн бұрын
Not sure any player goes into a tournament saying "I'll save my energy" - they would be hugely penalised for that! I am sure though in a 5 set match Alcaraz will be different but not even the very best win every match. Huge congratulations to Draper. Alcaraz is not injured and ought to be well-rested. Draper out played him today

l think the competition is so much better in the top 10 players. Here is a statistic hard to believe. The top 3 players who won most of the tournaments in the last 29 years, only won 52% of their points. They win by winning the close points thee most. A baseball pitcher & tennis player aint going to guide the ball down the middle all the time. Once a player gets ahead on the count, the player will take chances & hit the ball corner to corner, even if they lose a set, they do this to wear their opponent out, so they can easily win the last set. a good player gets way behind in a set, will give the opponent the set so that he dont wear himself out. Most tennis players that get ahead by many games, or serve to win the match, almost always choke up. Tennis is more mental confidence, than being fit.

Emma should be the team captain, she is inspirational to everyone. Even though Katie is uk #1 she thinks Emma is an exceptional player and inspired by Emma. Heather looks at Emma with pride in a team player who is so good. When you factor in Klugman and Xu will come through in the next 3years , GB will have some BJK team.
