Thank you this information! Does the "aerosol thickener" you mentioned have a different name? I cannot find any information about it online.
@alvaropasseri57546 күн бұрын
You need to search for "Aerosil or Cabosil", you will definitely find it. This product is used to prevent the resin from dripping into the vertical walls. For a mask that does not have strong vertical walls, you can try using only talcum powder and if it leaks a little, every now and then you lift the resin with the brush. Or you buy the ready-made gelcoat, which obviously costs three times as much as the resin.

Maestro, per la movimentazione usa programmazione di Arduino? O si affida solo a potenziometri?
@alvaropasseri57546 күн бұрын
Uso sempre Arduino per muovere i miei robot, anche il servo tester con i potenziometri, all'interno c'è Arduino uno, altrimenti solo i potenziometri non fanno muovere niente. ciao.

Thank you for this interesting video. Wouldn't it have been easier to apply a separating layer, e.g. talcum powder, to the modeling clay? Then it would be easier to remove the modeling clay from the finished mold?
@alvaropasseri57547 күн бұрын
How do you put talcum powder on top of the finished plasticine model? If you spray it with a gun it must be a very thin layer, and in this way it would be eaten, incorporated by the first layer of gelcoat, so nothing changes. if you give it a thicker layer the gelcoat no longer adheres to the model. Cleaning the plasticine residue from the resin with white spirit is very simple and won't ruin anything.

I think you need to more push (and additional micro cervos) for the muscles to look like they’re forming Fs and Os, and other letters that the cheek cervos should be pushing forward. The lips should be retracting inwards as well. May I also add the jaw has to retract on certain letters as well.

So, they managed to move the tongue in four directions using motors, I still think that it would be better to create something similar to the micro fibers in the muscles. I don't know, would that even be possible?
@alvaropasseri575416 күн бұрын
My tongue moves in six directions. The system that comes closest to the tongue is the soft grip, but it is not possible to make it make six movements, and the apparatus and mechanisms for compressing and depressing the air are much more complex and cumbersome.
