Great session, thanks! If you are in the Netherlands again, you should do some acoustic sessions, would be great! Maybe invite Marcella or/and Anneke also. Best wishes from the Netherlands

Was Sleeping in Traffic on your mind when you dreamed up the idea for this?
@ToehiderАй бұрын
@@rrrrthats4rs no, what is that?
@rrrrthats4rsАй бұрын
@@Toehider It's a Beardfish song, 35 minutes long about a kid who is sleeping through his morning alarm and the school bus, and has distinct genre voices for each of the different dreams. The stuff I like about Beardfish and the stuff I really appreciate about your music is pretty similar (prog rock that doesn't take itself too seriously and has guitar riffs and vocal melodies that could justify the song all on their own), although they're as much fans of 70s prog as you are the 80s I gather.

Only Mike can write this stuff and only Salty can draw it. I'm thankful we all get the chance to experience your art. This story is quintessential art. A wonderful, whimsical, fantastical narrative. And an absolute joy to get lost in for just under 19 minutes. Love you guys!! God grant you many years <3

Oh damn it's cool to see a deep cut Timo Tolkki cover in here. Dude had such an incredible ear for melody in the 90s

Not that "Timo Tolkki compositions sound better when someone else sings" is anything new but I'd never heard someone do it with his solo material, bravo!

Great stuff mate. I'm looking at switching over to Headrush from a TC Voicelive 3. Can you assign looper buttons to the main footswitches? I.e Rec/play on one switch and stop/clear on another?

Half of this song sounds like my ADHD, ngl. The meds are helping a little. Getting more stuff done. Less jumping from one unfinished task to the next, culminating in despairing at my lack of fully accomplishing any one thing. Weirdly, listening to reddit stories also helps.😅🤷♀️.
