Check out the brand new Headrush Prime pedalboard! It's a dream come true for all you singer/guitarists out there.
All sounds coming straight from the unit with no post processing or anything like that. No tuning on the vocals except for the fun first verse effect :)
I'll do some more vids with this exceptional machine in the future.
HELL YEAH

So one of the most fun things I do with my HX stomp - and what I had PLANNED on doing with the Helix when I got one - is splitting my bass signal, pitching one path up an octave, run it through an amp simulator (currently using the effects loop and dedicated pitch and amp sim pedals) and then processing the other as a standard bass. Doing this, I can play bass and rhythm guitar parts simultaneously for a three piece band that doesn't have a rhythm guitar player when our lead guitarist and lead singer plays a solo. What I wanted the helix for, was to do that, BUT ALSO process my vocals on a separate discrete path with the XLR input/output on the full-size helix floor. Clearly this can do a guitar path, a vocal path, and the leg up it has on the helix are the dedicated vocal effects, but are you able to split your guitar signal and have that third separate path similar to what I'd do with the helix? That's gonna be a huge factor in which one I choose to buy.

Would you share details of your rig, or perhaps share these rigs on the Headrush Cloud? I am feeding the HR Prime directly into my 40W Plexi MK II with a 4x12 , but that fantastic screaming tone that you have, is what I have been chasing, and not finding.... But at least I know I am on the right track.... So, well done, thanks for the inspiration, and hope to see more from you! Thank you!

14:57 I bought a Headrush core to run drum and bass backing tracks that I can play guitar and sing over. I’ve been running in circles for where to set levels for everything so it all sits well together in the mix. I noticed here that you have the backing track at 0db as opposed to the stock -10db. Any tips on where to set levels, how to or should I normalize backing track volume, general eq / compression etc for getting things to sit well together?

I watched a lot of these Headrush Prime videos and all are showing the same routing order. I'm just kind of curious about the direction of the chain. Is there any way that the setup can be changed the other way around? Possibly a dive in the settings and just simply changing it there? I mean from below going up instead of the "in" from the top left going down to the "out". I'm just used to the fact that the placement order of my physical pedals that I'm seeing right now is placed from my right going to left which is also indicated universally on all of the individual pedals on earth.

Ah well I'm left handed both in spirit and the brain so I can't help you there. The Headrush makes more sense to me than traditional pedals, I was always plugging things in backwards etc

I'm wondering about the factory artist presets in the Prime..... I like the presets in the Pedalboard for AC/DC, GnR, Prince, and the Surf for the Ventures and such..... It's easy and they are already built up for particular songs...... Does the PRIME have these presets? If not, could they be uploaded into the PRIME or will the operating system not work with the old stuff from the Pedalboard version?

Good day. Have you noticed that the Practice Tool does not "remember" the settings? If you turn off the backing track loop button, then when you turn on the device again, the button is turned on again. It's the same with the volume, every time you turn the device off and on you have to reset the volume level. By the way, if you play while standing, it's hard to see the name of the backing track. The letters are small. They could increase the entire bar on which the name of the backing track name is located and reduce the virtual “play” and so on buttons at the bottom. The makers of Headrush Prime should be informed about this.

So you are saying that you didn’t noticed any latency while using that vocal and guitar chain with a clone? I’ve read on TGP forum that someone measured 14ms just using an amp clone. 14ms sound hideous. Add that to the roundtrip caused by the interface when you are recording on a computer and that gets to reverb territory. I cannot see any obvious lag on your video - are you using a production retail model? Any idea where those opinions and measurements come from?
