What is this white hair screen thing? Mine are looking a tad rough... Do I need to put them back in? What are they for? Can't find anything useful on Google...
@accessoryhouse6 күн бұрын
They dampen the sound and also keep dust out. The ear pads already have a nylon screen attached to them to keep dust out. So, if you remove the white pads then it might change the sound a bit

Very usefull video, thank you. May i ask, is it possible to change q20+ pads with q30 or q45 . Q20+ pads are just a little small for my ears. İf i buy bigger pads, does it match with my q20+ headphone?
@accessoryhouse10 күн бұрын
Hello, unfortunately the way the earcpads attach on the q20 is different to the q30 and Q45. So, they won't fit.

I just walked through this process myself relaxing the pads. Here's a few extra tips: 1. It's best to put the headphones on a cushy surface - I used a kitchen towel. 2. When putting in the screens I reversed them bc I'm a lefty so the L & R were reversed. Also, use the existing pad to trim the screens down before sealing them in with the sticky pads. 3. BE PATIENT! When I pushed the cardboard-like frame under the 10 tabs, I used the blue tool to go around the edge slowly. I found going slowly and having a well lit space is very helpful. As a person with a physical disability in my hand this was doable. I had to brace one ear cuff while slowly using the tool to slightly tuck the cuff frame under each tab. Worked like a charm! Thanks for the multi-angle visuals and step by step walk through it was great!

I just bought a pair of these (the 350bt's) on sale and am wondering if your pads are intended to be a direct emulation of the stock pads or more of an upgrade. More comfortable? Better sound isolation? Better materials? Stuff like that. One common thing that I have read was that the stock pads were too small for many and not comfortable for longer sessions.
@accessoryhouse18 күн бұрын
@shiningphantasy1393 yes, mine are thicker and use better materials. Nicer foam and seams are stitched for durability 😁

Actually, I’ve found there is a left and right ear pad. If you look at the skirt at the top (opposite of the stitching on the bottom) you’ll see L and R on both the original and replacement ear pads. The difference is subtle but just like the headphones themselves there is a left and right that you want to pay attention to for optimal experience/feel.
@js.keduzsАй бұрын
Right now I just realized that the right pad has some kind of cut (I don't know what to call it) but it seems superficial, do you think it's necessary to change it for now?
