How long do the original pads last?

@@floresbasantesjustinalejan390 It will depend on what you use the headphones for. Sweat will ruin them faster, so if you use them at the gym, while running or out in the sun on hot days etc it can reduce the lifespan. You normally would get a year out of them I would say. Cheers

helpful video. Bought replacement earpads that have the cool gel feature for the Q45s. This step to take the pads off was nowhere to be found but glad I found your vid. The knife method worked but I did break one of the clips of the original but like you said, the new ones would be fine.

@mikail9819 I sell them, so they are from my stock. Not sure about the sweat reduction as they are still pu leather. Are you getting sweaty ears during certain activities or just normal stuff?

finally tried out your video! works like a charm! really just be careful dislodging the clips to install the new foam. the leather of my Q45 was ablit flaky already so it was abit bothersome to clean and maintain. Happy i was able to change it

hi! i bought the white ones and the inside of ear pad get dirty easily not the leather, i don't know what the name is but look like cover dust0:42. i wanna wash it so, can i take them off? is it possible or i should replace the whole of earpad?

I was just looking at buying this headset but watching this process has def quelled my enthusiasm for them. Kindly rename this video - that looks anything BUT easy. I highly doubt I could manage it. I came here looking to see if there was a suede-like replacement to make it better for glasses. Looks like I'm out of luck.

As they are noise cancelling, if you use suede or velour, you will lose most of the noise cancelling.

Hi, have you found any way of removing the cushion of the headband? I would like to fill it with a bit more and harder foam as the Headband provides too little cushioning for me.

These q45's are alittle too loose on my head, are there thicker ear pads that could make the headphones fit snugger ?

The ear pads are already pretty thick. I am not sure that it would fix this problem having thicker pads though. I don't know of anyone selling them thicker.

Sorry, they won't fit as they use different back plastic frames to clip into place.
