It's definitely cool and I am glad to live in a world where people make stuff like this for the public to buy if they have the means and desire to do so. It doesn't fit into my life currently, but who knows may one day I will pick one up when more space and funds are availible.

I did the 3d printed mod that uses a button housing and spring, with a 3 prong micro switch. This mod simply sets the microswitch to off when pressed and ON when depressed.. So when you pull back the plunger its effectively the same as pressing the button.. Does THIS plunger you test here work in the same way.. or can it somehow match your pull 1 to 1 like a real game plunger ?

So much u can do with building and other tracks, i thought the gameplay was not as fast as super sprint i played it today at Too many games expo definitely a buy at that price, great video

@@PDubsArcadeLoft nice one, I just feel the arcade style games of today will never compete with the old ones. Even shredders revenge is too long to feel like an arcade game and the font choice on screen makes it feel tacky. The old arcade games were an art form in themselves. I'm looking forward to the punisher release soon in the meantime I'm gonna go play some sunset riders today I think.

PDub, I get a lot of Fifth Element vibes from this table. Gotta fire the flipper just when the ball touches to get the center skill shot. I’ve only made it through the shoot the asteroids task so far. Putting in the time though. 🖖🏼

If you find the Polycade lacking after you test it, check out the wall mounted cabinets I build for Umbrella Arcades. They cost a bit less than their older model, but the quality of nearly every component is higher, and it comes loaded with 20,000 games. The Batocera user interface is extremely user friendly, and it runs everything from old arcade games to PS3 and Switch.

Spy Hunter is just like Star Wars. You don't reality how good it is until you play it on it's own original platform, just like Star Wars trilogy. BTW, WHEN will 1up arcade get a license for Sega Star Wars Trilogy?

This is the kinda thing that happens when A1up don't focus on the quality and consistency of the controls, monitors, and cabinet woodwork, when you're competing with bootleggers who can sell a dual joystick with all the games you licensed for less than half your asking price.

Yep! I’ve tried selling big blue for 300 but got 220, t2 brand new sold it for 200 a used t2 for 180 and these were listed for Months.

Ive sold my arcade1ups for 400 and up. The lowest I sold was the SF2 first gen arcade1up when they first came out for 250. You just have to make the discriptions of them solid-write all the features down, all the way to the seat and speakers, take pics and do a video of the gamrplay or just the intro. It works everytime. Stay away from buyers who want to lowball you. If you know the cabinet is worth 500, sell it for 500. If some Jamok comes along and ask for 250 say no, its 500-i wont go below 480. (Just an example) Sold my golden tee 3d for 600. Took 3 days. You gotta be a salesman on marketplace.

Very fun table. The sounds effects are pretty nice once you get modes started. You can hear people yelling, gunfire, explosions, etc. If there were no flipper lag, Id gove it an 8 or 9 out of 10.

I’m dealing with the same thing. Lived in SoCal and I’d put up an arcade 1up or a non working real arcade machine and it would be gone within a few days. Moved out here to AZ by Laughlin and am having trouble. Did manage to finally get rid of a couple 1UPs. Street fighter 2 legacy for $200 and a mspacman cocktail for $225 on OfferUp. I currently have first gen 12in1 asteroids vs centipede deluxe I’m selling on there. Even upgraded to light up marquee from Retro530. Upgraded the spinner and added some real nice matching riser and kickplate artwork. Asking $375 and now I’m debating if I should even be letting it go after all the crap I put into it. Looks nice too. Not parting with any of my other 1UPs though. Dragons lair and Star Wars are keepers for me.

How do y’all sell this stuff? I got a whole bunch of crap I need to unload. Last time I sold anything online was Craig’s list and I don’t want to mess with that. eBay is not good for some of this stuff.

Facebook marketplace is the easiest. Although it's hard to get rid of arcade1ups in my area. Nobody wants them anymore. Home arcade market is dead now.

I buy and sell lots of 1ups on Marketplace. Its slowed down some with the nicer weather. It's definitely easier to sell when it's cold out and people wanna be inside.
