Think it was a old canvas shirt as it had 3 large buttons and one small cuff? button inside the cloth. Can only hope to find a sov... one day! Didn't see the date on the half. Nice work mate. That's the hardest thing to get past with the X-terra, it's so damn sensitive. Quite under rated. Though the nox800 is next level. Atleast you can have more success with the ability to knock out iron rich hot rocks. Good Luck & Happy Swingin' mate.

Thanks jasntrace. In all honesty if you want success on the goldfields I would honestly try to hold off and get a nox 800 with a 6 inch coil. They have fallen in price alot. The vanquish doesn't have a gold mode and would only disappoint on the Goldfields unless you manage to swing over a chunk of gold... The 705 is capable but very hard to get used to for a beginner, this is due to the lack of settings around the prospecting settings. This video was honestly 5 years in the making, I bought it for the same reason but struggled to find shiny, spent 6 months solid chasing it every weekend. Once I got the nox I was poping bits out left and right over ground I had previously swung over with the 705 and that was from day one. This ep was the first time I found it on my own, and the last with the 705. But I wanted to prove it is possible... So I won't try to sell you a detector, just give you my thoughts based on experience. They will all find it but spending the extra money really does increase your odds. Hope this helps. Hey there anwarsghir, to be honest I am not sure. I have never used a Garrett machine so I can't tell you. What I can tell you is the more that you spend the easier it will be to find the shiny. I have absolutely killed it with my equinox 800 and a 6 inch coil. It has found bits down to 0.006g which is tiny. But you also need to learn your machine. Hope this helps. I certianly have no issues with the vanquish, it's a great beginner level machine with most of the bells and whistles for half the price of the nox. I have already recomended these to people who want to start out. They are basic in thier settings but just as sensitive as a nox. I was truely impressed. Hope yours finds you many more treasures.
