The positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve is a simple system that introduces filtered fresh air into the crankcase. The PCV valve uses the engine's vacuum to pull air through the crankcase and reintroduce it back into the intake manifold system.

I tried this with a single pole dimmer switch from Amazon. When I turn the dial to energize the wire it gets to a certain point and disintegrates the wire in as split second. Maybe I bought the wrong switch. Not sure why it doesn’t slowly ramp up the power.

Just so you know interier construction is not universal for every car. They vary according to vehicle. So, what I am saying is two STP filters same grade will vary by vehicle.

Plastic helps from corrosion on the interior of the filter. Hyundai does the same thing on their factory filters.

You put a lot of time, effort and money into this. However, in spite of all your work there is no way to know which is any of these filters is the best. All we know is how they are made. It is not know how well they filter dirty oil and that is what oil filters are made to do. Does more pleats, thicker metal etc. mean they filter better? Is the most expensive one the best? To know which is best you would have to run dirty oil through them and then measure the amount of microscopic contaminants. This would require some expensive and specialized equipment.

All 3 are most likely made by Champion Labs. They make probably 75% of the oil filters, regardless of label.

I know this is a 2 year old video but this thing looks very well thought out and built. Imagine it being able to run klipper and Orca Slicer.... It would probably produce amazing results!

It doesn’t matter how “premium” the oil or oil filter you use is.. it’s way more important to be changing them out every 3-5k miles

Based on my own experience changing my own oil since 1981 Amsoil is the best hands down.

Naturally the one i like to use ' cheap and has the black sandpapper shit on it< fram orange+black> is the worst one for some reason according to mr. Dudley doo- right know it all!😂 par for the course-- my life story seems like-- Anyway---- from now on---do this simple little reminder FROM NOW ON-- at every oil you do--- open the hood and place the new oil on your air cleaner before you drain you oil, JUST TO MAKE SURE you add it after your dune underneath! I know it sounds stuped, but not nearly as stupid as FORGETING to add the new oil once you lower the car down! < maybe because you were in a big hurry or whatever> Actuially met a guy once who fried his good chev. 350 because he was in such a big hurry < or what-ever the reason> He forgot to add the new oil. Now if the hood was open and the new oil was sitting on the air cleaner or where-ever under the open hood he would not forgot to put inthe new oil.🤔 Its such a simple thing to do to avoide a fried motor, so why not❗ Caught him by suprise!!!
