Sensei is always AFTER the name and not before. It is Angelo Sensei, and not Sensei Angelo. And Sensei is not a title, like Dr. or Prof. it is a salutation, like Mr. and Mrs.. Otherwise good introduction.

I singed up for treatment at CPI. Paid the deposit, but I'm concerned because they want the full amount at least 2 weeks prior to my appointment in March. Is that normal? Deposit was $2,500, but my total is over 30k. For me that's a huge amount. I'm concerned about getting scammed.
@TheMartialWay5 ай бұрын
Yes, completely normal and everyone does it. No worries... they are the most legit hospital you've ever visited, and you'll see for yourself very soon. You don't have to trust me, but if you see all my vids not one person has ever had an issue. I honestly wish I could get even more done. If memory serves me, I believe the full amount is to reserve the cells for you. They're not cheap.

Hey! My progress has been remarkable! You can see other videos here on my YT channel, or check out my IG instagram.com/_themartialway/ I didn't think I was going to be able to walk properly again, never mind working out! Now I am pain free with a small amount of nerve issues on the bottom of my right heal. You're right to be nervous, but they will treat you like you've never seen before. Amazing staff and it works! I give credit to Abernathy, and his approach to pragmatic karate. Myself i value kata and the search for the intended application. The value in such a discovery allows us to critique what has come before, grow from the knowledge that has been left for us in kata. The isues i see in the world is the exeptence that the intended applications are hidden from us, and that even if we did find them how would we know they were the intended applications. What i want to get to is where we can create new karate kata with the methods of the old kata. To pass on new information. I want to search for what the old masters were searching for and to do that i need to get to where they got to. I am on a search for intended applications, but who else is.

Hate that political correctness has to be used calling a soldiers weapon a assault weapon. A muwashi geri is a assault weapon just like anything that can be harmful physically to a human. Stop using the term assault weapon and just call it what it is. Using political correct terms are holding us back a people. OSU!!

A good summary & comparison/contrast! In a similar way, but for different reasons, some European arts changed from combat arts to sports. For example what we call Olympic fencing is a sport but evolved from smallsword fencing which was a self defense & duelling martial art. Another example is boxing which began as pure fighting but slowly was "cleaned up" and became a sport; although even in its current form it is rather effective as a fighting art. Earlier boxing allowed for head locks, throws, back hands, hammer fists, kicking of the shins g stomping of the feet for example.

It's good until you break your hands in a self defence encounter better to punch vertically in that situation
@asa-punkatsouthvinland714511 ай бұрын
@@CuchulainAD or take the time to condition your hands. You still need to put less power in hits to the head but as hitting with bare knuckles concentrates force in a smaller area, compared to with gloves, you don't need to hit as hard bare knuckle to damage an opponent.

I've been practicing Kyokushin for a year and a half now, competed twice. My sensei is trying to carry out Sosai's Shin Soseki/New Genesis in Kyokushin, and the more we apply it the more he and I have noticed a Budo aspect which most "sport" Kyokushin schools have neglected.
