So few understand or even care to understand what we go through every day. Because we look fine when our body n mind r falling apart. They think we're faking it or making it up for sympathy or free help. When we honestly don't get the help we need. N constantly berraded for not getting enough done when we have to fight our bodies for everything we manage to do. Even jus to get up n eat every day. I recently moved into a home that was trashed even before I moved in. It took me 3 months, but i finally have the mess that was already here clean, as well as over 2 years worth of laundry because i had no way to get it done at my old home. Im still trying to get the rest of my stuff moved from my bfs sheds n the dishes washed i neglected while I was trying to get laundry done to make space for my furniture that isnt here yet. But i cnt move my furniture in until I replace the floor. N on 900 a month in winter, i cnt afford it right now. Winter is a whole season flare. So i get up w the intent to clean n shower n get things done. All i managed the last 2 days was feeding myself n the cats. I've been on the couch the last 2 days too tired to move aside from feeding myself, the cats, bed, n the bathroom. Honestly if I didn't have cats to care for idk if id have made it up at all I've been so weak n in pain. N my problem isn't jus fibromyalgia. I also have lupus, batwing back, scoliosis, carpeltunel in both wrists, tendonitis in my right hand thumb (dominant hand), over active bladder, bladder reflux disease, IBS, n the cartilage in both my hips n knees is desintegrating. Every time I stand up or try to lay down for bed or try to walk one of my hips or knees gives out on me. Its made having sex incredibly painful as well, but I'm afraid to tell my bf that even though he deals w similar issues. Because he's incredibly insecure. I'm only 38 n my body is falling apart like an 80yo. N i live alone in a college town full of sex offernders, me the legal size of a midget. Not exaggerating, I'm only 4ft 10. N a pedestrian. Scares the sht out of me that I'm not only this tiny, but this crippled on top of it. That would make fighting off an attacker or break in impossible. My hope n goal w yoga is to try to get my health back. So I cn not only get more done n feel good about myself n my home. But so I cn also have the mobility to b able to better defend n protect myself if I need to. To feel safer leaving n jus being in my home n yard. As well as to feel more at peace w my physical health n home. Been through a lot physically n mentally. N yoga is both meant to strengthen the mind n the body. Feels like a perfect fit for me to help learn to better myself both mentally n physically

Thank you, this is brilliant. I feel that I have learned a real range of movement which I don't necessarily use on a day to day basis. Simple but oh so important.

2:22 Chest breathing? This is the first time I hear someone teach this. All other meditation/yoga teachers advocate belly breathing. Other than that, the instructions are clear and spot on.

Yay, I found this again, my favourite that I forgot to save years ago. Sometimes I'm not well enough to complete the whole thing but I found last time that it helped strengthen my muscles as well as relaxing them, I now have a rib that keeps sublaxing, hopefully this will strengthen my back muscles to keep it in place. Thank you :)

I'm younger than all the people on the video, but they are in better shape than me. Due to past injuries I can't get down on the floor and I can't sit like that. I may try it laying down.
