It’s definitley the stock tune. I’ve got an aftermarket intake and turbo-back exhaust with a dyno tune and the car completely wales up, ~300hp, power dip mostly gone, no rev hang and sounds so good.

So funny that people actually WANT their car to backfire. That usually means the car is running too rich and it pops because too much fuel is going into the cylinders. Until recently, that was considered a bad thing.

i’m wondering i’m gonna get stage 1+ if i get a wrx if i wanna go stage 2 do i just get a down pipe and that’s it? and ofc tune it correctly

Well “stage 2” is used to often in many different scenarios. But for a wrx it is usually a turboback exhaust (a j pipe and a catback) and then a cold air intake. I don’t have a cold air intake but I have the turboback exhaust so I just call it stage 2 lol

Absolutely love my 9th gen, but it sure is hard to not hit rev limit in lower gears. I'm so used to my old EK and my 8th gen with so much higher rev ranges. All in all though I still would pick a 9th gen the low end power feels nice.

It looks just like an AEM dry flow air filter, wondering if its the same filter. Wanting to get one but I currently have AEM installed.Dont want to get the same filter with just a different brand name lol.
