Omg this is me and what I am working on right now. And my medical issues are very real and very scary however, it’s manageable and I even perform very well while dealing with them under the right conditions which previous employers have known and had no problem with since I am good at what I do matter where I am. Idk what happened with this place I’m at now but anything reasonable I ask for that even my doctors advocate for they play this telephone game and never give me an answer and if I God forbid do it idk im worried then they will write me up. And also, this was never an issue w job before either regardless of the accommodations for my illnesses. Nonetheless, I was hospitalized back in November briefly for a Lupus flare up and ever since then I’ve been treated differently, in fact a lot harsher and more very rigid and restrictive ways. It’s only gotten worse, including my heath. Also, I’m not a lawyer but I’m sure they violated a few laws regarding FMLA as well, my hours and pay - there is just so much and my family and friends are urging me to contact a good attorney that will understand my situation plus all other nuances happening that aren’t kosher . These videos hold so much value for me cause now I know what my rights are and showed me what a good employment lawyer should be like.

Many many boxes are checked and you have NO idea how informative they are and opened up my eyes. I’ve been too afraid but I think it’s absolutely the right thing to do! I am getting hurt, others have gotten hurt and the population this company serves is getting hurt immensely! I have to do this and I literally have always been the good work horse employee that gets poached for new opportunities many times. But I think after truly experiencing everything discussed in his videos like I have to do something, no matter how frightening it may be . I entered this field 15 years ago to help people that are struggling I just never thought about the employees that suffer greatly from it as well. Now I’m thinking why am I writing this out and they find out and I get in trouble . All it did was open my eyes and I don’t ever want to see another employee or even a client suffer at this intensity I’ve experienced and witnessed. I just don’t know how to play this corporate machevellian game these owners do. I don’t think like that and they have a massive start on me w experience in these matters, they are multimillionaires and can destroy me if they wanted to. Hopefully what you said in these videos are accurate- maybe in the end I can along w others be protected from severe company abuses. Crap, idk what to do now or where to start.

Uhhh mine is newsworthy. Sorry, I’m watching these now and my mind is blown at how much I’ve been experiencing along with all the punitive stuff you mentioned- I didn’t even know that this was possible to get help for.

And mine is true w pain and suffering via my therapist who can vouch and most importantly my physical health- which has been deteriorating rapidly and my MDs believe this as well. I’ve been in denial and it’s my medical team that are trying to help me see the “light”. I just don’t know what to do.

There is not one item you said in here that doesn’t accurately describe the importance of what I’m currently experiencing. I’ve always been afraid, and these employers know this about me and continue to ignore it when I ask for basic reasonable accommodations due to my several illnesses, including some rare ones you mentioned I see and experience regularly I didn’t know about - punitive with fraud, etc. This was the first time someone was able to articulate my situation, and now I see the severity of it. It’s hard when you are constantly being gaslit by your employer and lose your sense of self and trust. Nonetheless, I realized how bad my circumstances are, and even now after everything that has been done to me, I am afraid to even broach the issue. Although your videos clearly showed me how dire and accurate my work circumstances are, I am still afraid. But thank you for at least letting me know I am not “crazy.” Ugh, this is bad. Now I really don’t know what to do. They are essentially sending me out to “sea to die”. Crap. I legitimately realize now that I need guidance and help.

In my case... my boss is so bad that it's damaging the company's reputation and ability to bring in $$$. Which in turn affects everyone's job security including all of HR... So yeah... when my boss tried to throw me under the bus, I came out swinging.

So trying to get some advice. I've been denied unemployment help due to voluntary quitting. I was told by my HR/Supervisor, though txt, that I had two choices either be fired due to "No call no show" or to resignation. The "NCNS" was due to an incident that happened with my health and losing my phone in during the mess. I then asked HR/Supervisor what would best help me and was told that if I resigned that it would not effect my future employment. I am currently looking for work and having a hard time getting hired when I'm being told that I have a very strong resume and fit perfectly for the position I've applied to. I am currently not sure how to fight for myself with the appeal to EDD to get some type of help while I'm trying to get a new job. This mess has left me with medical bills and homeless due to no cash flow coming in. I feel like I did myself wrong and have lost confidence in myself.

HR is a coalition either their friends with benefits and favorites. They have a list of those who can almost get away with anything. In fact, they’ll get promoted for their wrong doing!

I am new supervisor joined 3 months back and the day one onwards an associates make lot of noise like connectivity issues, powers cut, arguments with me and colleagues, interrupt in meetings, ordering to change meetings, contribute high errors , less productive hours, unscheduled leave etc..then I raise HR tickets with enough documentation bur they support associates and won't give me time to explain everything, simply said we communicate with associates and need to give time to change, now this is 3rd month still he is doing same thing and not supporting tasks. I am struggling to utilize this FTE and managing client SLA's. He also raised complaints against me to HR. Please advise how to kick off this employee from my team😢

I was just fired because my boss's director said they were outsourcing my job. It was probably because me and my boss got into an argument. Whichever is the case the lie of outsourcing sounds like the best reason for me to get a new job.

I have been having to sign a form stating the the camera in the commercial truck at work that drive is very sensitive always records if you don’t make a complete stop At a stop sign or driving to closely issued of that matter what do have to do as far as signing them they make you watch the video then sign your name

You should be doing interviews every regardless how stable a job may seem. But if you have to document the bad behavior start looking for that second job beforehand. It’s best to leave prepared than unprepared.
