HR was a joke , We were told that we are NOT allowed in the office area . And I was fired for some thing I said .

I have worked at several companies and what the lawyer in this lawyer said is absolutely 100% TRUE!!! I have seen it happen so many times. HR is only there to protect management, not the employees. You should only go to HR to file about something that is PROTECTED BY LAW. Otherwise, they will fire you for something unrelated.

I went to HR about a manager that was berating and borderline misogynistic to me at work and in front of clients. the HR manager gaslit me saying such things dont happen at said company. A few months later i was fired for something i didnt do. They argued they didnt have enough reason to suggest i didnt do it but enough to suggest i did do it.
