i pick monster ghoul over RO ghoul just because of the level system. new players struggle to get to even lvl 250 considering the amount of hackers in each server, and not only that the bosses are way too hard for only 1 level. the trainers are the only thing that can help newbies to level up, but even so theres a avg 15 min cd even at the beginning trainers.

Although I won’t say which is better or worse, roghoul PvP is definitely better. Not because of weapons or whatever but it’s the fluidity and consistency of the movement and the attacks of each weapon are also smooth. For models I won’t say better to be honest I would rather it be fair since some roghoul models are good such as Tatara ixa and takik1 while Mon ghoul models are decent a model like mg amonk1 is basically an overgrown cockroach. Weapon designs and kits roghoul has the better designing and kit ideas, takik1 and etok3 are solid proof of good kit ideas and while amonk1 in Mon ghoul has an interesting play style it gets stale and weapons in that game do not have interesting mechanics that or are just ripped off from roghoul weapons. For farming Mg and roghoul are weird in that aspect because for mg grinding rc in that game is hell but for yen levels and rep it’s a breeze, for roghoul u require the use of trainers from 1-1250 until u can fight gyakusatsu, Amon and nish do not give a lot of exp rc and yen and your mostly getting those from Eto and gya. Optimisation would be on Mon ghouls side, gyakusatsu lags entire servers once it starts firing many of its spawns and silver skulls hitbox has long since deteriorated since it’s release as its hitbox has gotten worse. Overall there isn’t a win or lose both games have the same PvP system but their still technically ghoul games, only thing that’s different is Alex taking 6 years to release one braindead kakuja/quinque or a shitty balancing to Iblacks stubbornness to communicate with his community and mods.

as much as i loved ro ghoul back then, not so much currently just not enjoying it much, i will put an end to this. pvp - ro ghoul, although badly needs balancing models - monster ghoul, self explanatory content - ro ghoul (monster ghoul is only starting so it has less content, there will be more in the future) visuals - fair, although monster ghoul will probably be taking this one in the future grinding system - monster ghoul, i'd say it's decent the only thing bothering me is the zones that teleport me when i accidentally go outside the zone communities - monster ghoul, although i'm not sure with this one this could go either way but i'm judging from my experience balancing - monster ghoul, devs give frequent balancing updates therefore making the game more balanced potential - monster ghoul is a fresh game, it's already looking good i have high hopes, the difference between early mg and revamped mg is crazy overall: monster ghoul: 6 ro ghoul: 3 disclaimer: this is my opinion and it might be other else's opinions aswell, for me monster ghoul wins.

I played Ro-Ghoul since 2018 so I am a RG rider but here are my takes: Effects/Animations on Abilities: Monster Ghoul has flashier abilities which makes everything more impactful (DOPAMINE), as well as having more 'unique' abilities (even if heavily inspired from other games... I'm looking at you Scorpion). Every quin that I've used so far has been unique to one another (not sure about ghoul yet), which I can't say about Ro-Ghoul. Since Ro-Ghoul suffers from 2018 graphics most quins/kagunes have similar looking effects which makes everything look dull and goofy (Silver Skull as a prime example). This is honestly why I stopped playing after 2021 is because the game just looked outdated. QOL: Monster Ghoul has more weapon storage, cheaper weapons/arata, early game protection, and you can see your block stamina. Ro-Ghoul has a lot more variety of weapons to choose from, more masks, nametags, easier bosses (could be a pro or con), and a clean and READABLE UI, MG's UI is trash. Models: Pretty much the same but RG is slightly better even if less canon. PVP: Both are similar spam abilities games with easy combos (compared to other fighting games), but Ro-Ghoul is basically Monster Ghoul is you turned on ESPORTS settings on the graphics, so it feels more smooth to play RG. MG has more eye candy so idk depends on what you like here either one can win this one. However, RG is so much better for me is because MG limits your attack to 3.9k so you can't be full glass. Even if it's more balanced this fucking blows because every fight feels like an arena fight, so it's less fun since you can't funny one shot. PVE: Monster Ghoul. Progression: MG has faster progression than RG but they're both very underwhelming. Map: I actually don't like either, RG is bland and the MG is cartoony and has no shading (and the arena sucks). **Verdict** I don't care if MG copied or got heavily inspired from RG because at the end of the day they both copied Tokyo Ghoul and uses the names and designs from it, you can question the morality of this but rn MONSTER GHOUL IS THE BETTER GAME OBJECTIVELY. I feel like both games can co-exist side by side because RG is a true and polished PVP game while MG is more of an anime game with the effects and is much more approachable. Hardcore players will enjoy RG more while casuals will enjoy MG more.
