I as hoping you would ask. It was the best sleep I had for a while and I knew you were wondering when he get this part started again. Then I thought too much planning well like Tay, says, she thinks on her feet,I don’t think so, it’s like instinct for her, so I’ll just dive right in, in the beginning, I thought was it real, would Travis reall go out with a bang, would he go on dates with Miss Taylor, then I started, to think, the party might need a hand getting started and I thought about her fancy footwork, and how Brigham City Susan might lend a had. Then a idea start.

Just to set the timeline, their 1st American tour. The first Ed Sullivan show was 2 days earlier, then gigs up and down the east coast before returning to NYC for the 2nd Sullivan show. No one knew who they were, but the kids had heard the music. Almost no equipment--just a couple of Fender amps they ran guitars and mics through. Road crew was Mal Evans. No sound board, no mixing, no stage lights, no SuperBeatle amps: They hadn't invented any of that yet. Everybody is simply astonished by the audience response--nothing like that had ever been seen before. Older men in the audience are gobsmacked by the hair, the presence, the Cuban heels, the volume, and the little girls screaming.

These guys were EVERYTHING!!!…. To me as a teen!!!! it was so hard to find concert clips. I had to wait for something to come on the television. Of course, there was no KZfaq or Internet.
First time I've seen this I was nine years old when this was recorded I know every song inside out And each and one of them still gives me a kick .... Not only did they write great songs they were really REALLY bloody good entertainers !! What a show !!

The stage orientation was likely the most random thing ever seen. I think it all started when the amps were faced the wrong direction. So John just went with that and ignored all else. I guess the audience was on all sides, too, making things further confusing. It's obvious the large open portion of the stage was the intended front-of-audience direction. In fact, the drums initially faced that direction, but the amps were behind the drums and turned around. I don't blame the Beatles for being confused. And the 1st mic George was trying to sing out of? Right.. no sound check. It really was the wild west for audio technology back then. Wow. But they just wanted to play, and everyone was just so excited to see them, so it didn't atter. It just annoys me to see it is all.

Wow!!! For 1964 that was just Stellar!!! We were so completely blessed, to be alive during this turbulent time period!! I have heard, and believe, that the best music comes from the worst shit that happens to us!! However, do not take that as a smack to the face!! All emotions bring about opposite reactions in unexpectedly beautiful ways! "It", whatever it was, they seemed to possess an endless supply!!! THE BEATLES WERE OUR BIG Brothers!!

I pray before I pass away, that I see a Colorized version of this Classic LIVE PERFORMANCE!! Many would pay to own a colorized copy! Maybe release the Beatles Live In Japan 1966.. Mabe release a DVD Video of all Beatles released videos... Someone must be tired of making $$$$ off The Beatles??

George is playing his newly acquired Rickenbacker 12 string but from the way the solo on Roll Over Beethoven sounds, it's only strung with the standard 6 strings. Boy, the Lads were good sports to do this silliness.

I was one of the lucky fans who was part of the audience. It was taped on April 28th. 1964, and on the television in England a week or so later. A few months later it was televised in America. 🎵🎵🎵🎵 This was one of the many times that I saw The Beatles, and I have written all about it, and my other adventures chasing after The Beatles all over London in my book titled ‘A Common case of Beatlemania’ which is available on Amazon. There’s also a closeup of my friend and me right after John screams in Can’t Buy Me Love. 😁

Ringo was SELECTED to be in what is arguably the greatest rock band in history. ~ Ringo was SELECTED at the very moment the Beatles rocket ship was taking off on the greatest journey ever to stardom by any rock band, ever ~ He was SELECTED. ~ SELECTED. ~ If you want to watch a circus act like Neil Peart or Buddy Rich, then just go to the circus. ~ But if you want to watch the greatest rock band in history, and the drummer who was specifically SELECTED just before they exploded on to the world scene, then watch Ringo play with the Beatles.

I love the Beatles but thank god the Stones came along a year later and no rock band would ever do anything like this again. The Stones dont get the credit for making rockstars not all round entertainers and even wearing there own clothes. Its hard to decide between the Beatles,The stones and Dykan who had the most influence on music and culture
@Greenballoffire4 күн бұрын
without the beatles there'd be no stones, so there's that.
