Yeah it's crazy how many people go into it thinking or "knowing" that Cloud and Tifa are the alleged pairing. But then they play and they see that first scene between Cloud and Aerith on the streets of Midgar and the flower, some get hooked there or at least get very curious. And then shortly after the church scene seals the deal.

Awesome glad that you stumbled across that vid and this one! Oh yeah I agree with you on Cloud being awkward. I believe it's a combination of many things to consider there, not just Cloud being worried about Aerith's feelings for Zack. I'll do a vid on the gondola date at some point and I'll go into more detail on that vid about it. Yeah showing that Aerith isn't perfect and struggles with her emotions and feelings is great and gives her character more depth. Even with the Gongaga scene with the discussion on Zack, Aerith still struggles with not getting proper closure and shows she really is human I liked seeing a lot.

Seeing raw emotions and reactions on display can hit deep for sure.

Zack was too real here, I became more of a fan of his after that scene and the decision he made. Eira is doing the lords work for sure!

@@mlwjrpg same feelings here, buddy. My respect for Zack skyrocketed when I finished this. He's an amazing guy who can accept the reality of his and Aerith's relationship. Anyway, I'm glad you know about Eira, her channel is so underrated :'<.

Did you even watch AC or read OTWTAS? Even a memory of Aerith is more dear to Cloud than a living Tifa. Tifa keeps on taking Ls no matter how much you cope.

Aerith's fate is undetermined in the Retriolgy buddy.

I think Cloud will die in the finale in order to save Aerith stop Seph. Aerith survives and she gets with Zack 😢 parallel to Cloud with Tifa. They both suffer without one another- still a tragic love story. Aerith keeps searching for Cloud… Or maybe I’ll just write about it 😂

@@Locustskies I still think they should resolve sacrifice cloud for Sephiroth because it was never truly him, in my heart it’s always been Jenova and he never knew the truth about his mother. Anyway he’s just thought he did and that led to his tragedy. I guess one could argue that cloud has been living alive for just as long and suffering at the same time so I guess they’re evenly matched for deserving to be saved.

@@brieezy. True. Sephiroth and Cloud are both controlled by Jenova. Hojo is the true villain. I liked Seph in CC before he lost his 💩- didn’t care for playing CC overall though. I adore Aerith, but in CC, she wasn’t as bubbly and whimsical as she is in OG and the newer games. Building a flower wagon 101 was so lame IMO. Cloud only has Zack’s SOLDIER attributes and Cloud has S- gene, Zack G- gene. I think Cloud is the only one who can stop Sephiroth. When Aerith tried, civilization ended-up getting destroyed 500 years later anyhow. But I think Sephiroth is too far gone to be saved and Cloud will sacrifice himself to put an end to Jenova and save Aerith and Zack even though those two do nothing for me. Killing Cloud will put the shipping thing to rest as well. But who knows? We aren’t supposed to figure this out right now.
