The Mummy 1/2,Die Hard 1 and Pirates of the Caribbean 1 is what I consider perfect action/adventure movies Regardless of their franchises, the single(or 2 in Mummy case) movie that from start to finish is almost everything a popcorn flick suppose to be, with surprisingly great writing, great pacing and perfect casting The movie that gave me this feeling recently is DnD:Among thieves

Thank you for covering this film it’s one of my favorite fantasy Horror films ever and one of the few I could actually get through as a kid I would equate it to monsters Inc as it balances the scary bits with levity while also taking a pirates of the Caribbean approach with its characters and action and its actually getting some love later this year with Funko fusion a crossover video game that uses funko pops as a base and builds off of that by combining a ton of different franchises adult franchises like jaws back to the future and Jurassic Park/ world with many more new and classic franchises and it’s being developed by an off shoot of travelers tales who developed the Lego series which is right up my alley can’t wait for you to The Mummy returns too it’s great in its own way

I really didn't like this movie, like at all, and I even saw it for $1 at a bargain theater when it came out. But the ONE scene I did enjoy, was when the badguys were running from the first flood of beetles, and they come bursting out into the room with the good guys, and they get ready to fight, but nah, even the badguys are like "EFFING RUUUUUN!!" because even they were like "nah man, I wouldn't wish what's behind me on ANYONE! Even people actively working against me right now!" I dunno, I just liked that bit, where the tropes are broken, and they just act like a human, a social animal, and instinctively try and protect the tribe from the much larger threat.

just rewatched frozen on an airplane i havent watched it in FOREVER probably even since i saw it in the theaters and now the story makes 100% more sense to me i still do love this movie especially the art behind it and i just love how idina menzel is in this movie i love elphaba from wicked musical and songs; defying gravity and for good. and hearing elphaba and also her being elsa is so cool. also now this movie seems more dark than what i saw it was back in 2013 terrible royal parents, elsa being in there alone and scared of herself not wanting to hurt her sister at all, anna still remembers olaf because the trolls didnt take away the fun just forgetting that elsa had powers. now hans seems more obvious hes a bad guy with the not in sync and him referring to the palace and not anna herself. emotions of colors from elsa man i just love disney dark films they're great.

I personally don't think it's funny how Imhotep spares Beni when he like uses the right language and religion, I think it's kinda awesome and a little sad because Imhotep basically respected him in that moment since that's the religion and language he grew up with

So I personally like the idea that it was Venom that Batman injected himself with. If it was Venom it would line with a story where a "younger" Batman got abdicated to Venom after failing to save a girl from drowning because he wasn't strong enough. side note this story was pre Bane. side side note WB is probably not going to let there poster bat do a drug story line but i think it would be vary cool.

Not counting Jonathan/John Hannah as one of the Grade A Hotties is a crime. Though he does get infinitely more hot in second movie when he says, "Today's that day, Evy" so as long as you add him to the tally then, I'll let this egregious oversight slide.

There's at least one theory that Jonathan is a WWI veteran (which he almost certainly was, given his age and social class), and that that's the main reason he's the way he is. On the one hand, he's genuinely skilled (we see him display some genuine marksmanship in Mummy 2), but on the other hand he's like Winston; he's seen so many of his friends die that he doesn't care much about life anymore.
