Some people claim that they use Hydrogen Peroxide in the water to combat algae. What do you say? Ever tried it before?

Wow didn’t know hard water can actually etch the calcium into the glass. Did you try to polish it out with something like car polish compound? Maybe hit it with some strong citric acid or something before hand?

Why Potamogeton illinoensis, as far as I'm aware of, has not been present in the hobby as of yet? Is it difficult to cultivate? Too large for home aquarium? Heck, come to think of it, the entire genus very rarely appears in the hobby 🤔
@biotopia531915 күн бұрын
I think because it's so invasive it's not propagated really and is on ban-lists for a number of countries. It grows vast and fast, but you could use P. perfolliatus as a substitute :)

Nice to go swimming with you! Really nice filming and the views are something I otherwise wouldn't be able to ever see. Nice music too. My Paradise Fish nibbles on my hand when I clean his tank. It's not like he is going to eat me alive but still it feels kind of creepy. Funny to be scared of a 4 in. fish with a teeny mouth.

Such a delight! I quite enjoy your aquatic tours. I couldn't help but to chuckle about the plucking of your facial hair. Even so, a treat that they would investigate you so closely. Thank-you for bringing us with, so we also get the opportunity to embrace these beautiful places!

I would have struggled with removing that driftwood arch. It looked great by itself. However, removing it took the tank from yet another nicely escaped tank to something really special 😍👍 that hyper natural mixture of plants is stunning. Thank you 🙏 I think I learned a big lesson here.
