Good video but I would like to know which machine makes the best crema? I don't really need a manual or non-electric machine. My main concern is weight and coffee quality. Any other machines make better crema and larger output (double espresso)? Thanks

Good feedback! I actually do love the taste like that, but I guess I just got used to that amount based on how we made it at the café I worked at! What is a normal amount? About a tablespoon?

I am interested in purchasing this. I usally like to have two cups of coffee in the morning. Right now i am using a regular coffee maker 🥺. I have tried a French press before. Since i like to drink one or two cups of coffee would this work for me, i saw water can be added to make it lighter? This is completely new to me. My preferred drink is a cafe latte. Is the moka pot for me??

Why does my moka pot sputter all the coffee out instead of having a good flow
@Spartan909213 сағат бұрын
It’s too hot, from what I remember as soon as coffee starts to flow you should cut the heat and let the carry over heat extract your coffee

The Clear winner should be the french press due to its ease of use and the dual ability to froth milk perfect for latte art

01:13 what if I cannot remove the thicker shower screen plate even after removing the two screws? My machine is fairly new and this thing is stuck on there. 🤯
@lizhappybeans3 күн бұрын
🙈 it could be hard to remove the first time. That’s why I stick a flat head screwdriver in one of the holes and pull as it was a lever. You can try the different holes around the edges, but with some leverage it should be easier!

1. There are 100 filters now and 350 filters before, so clearly (pun intended) not "like before"!!! 2. it was 29-35 USD before and now it is 50 USD, so it is a clear (pun intended) price increase for less value. 3. with mechanical scratching of the clear material in that case you will experience partial discoloration and lesser longevity of usage. 4. you are telling that the "extra accessories are not needed" and still use the original scoop (no longer included) in your video...... Next time you will do any sort of payed promotion like this one please be honest and not so obviously illogical. Good luck

I’m really sorry you’re disappointed with AeroPress. I tried to be as honest as possible based on my experience with it and after watching other reviews and looking at the concerns. This is my first Aeropress, and as I say in the video, it became my go to daily brewer. I’m aware of the filter reduction. It’s a common complaint! I just don’t make a lot of sense out of it. This is my personal opinion. I understand those who don’t like it! It’s fair! I can’t emit an opinion on price increase, as this is my first one and, for the current price and how much I’ve enjoyed it, it’s more than fair (to me!) - I do understand where you come from tho. I haven’t had this brewer for too long, but I have other things made of the same material and they’re still around! I don’t foresee this breaking anytime soon. And lastly, I stand by what I say about the accessories. I’ve never had them, and I didn’t miss them. I tried the device before learning that it used to come with those. Oh, and it DOES come with the spoon and stirrer, you can confirm on the website. Again, I’m sorry that my review upset you. Regardless of this being a disclosed collab with AeroPress, I do my best to be unbiased and my opinion on this device as a new user was as unbiased as possible. My experience has been pleasant, exciting I might say! I think that at least for someone who doesn’t already own one, this is a MUST. But hey, that’s me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to leave this comment. I appreciate the feedback and I look forward to having these conversations with the KZfaq community. Hope next time I can produce a video that you can enjoy and get more value from, as I can clearly (pun intended) do better! Have a wonderful day! 🙏🫶

@@lizhappybeansthank for your reply. I am not disappointed with Aeropress itself, I am using one for over 5 years and completely happy with it. I am just not very happy with its development after Mr.Adler sold the company. Increasing the price with decreasing filters quantity and accessories is a shitty move that goes against the “philosophy” of this coffee maker in the first place (as clearly specified by its inventor and creator).

Just got one but couldn’t dial it in if I follow the recommended grind range. Did you use the double wall basket or single to use with the recommended grind range?
@lizhappybeans6 күн бұрын
I’ve always used the double basket! If you can’t get good results within the recommended grind range, go finer for sure. Even to the finest, if need be! Another tactic that can help you out is overdosing your portafilter a little bit to apply that extra resistance in the puck. So, say you’d usually grind 18g, try 20g instead and see if it helps! Please remember that the roast level of the beans also plays a factor! So maybe if you’re using lighter roasted beans, you’d have to grind finer to obtain the same results you would with a medium-dark roast. Let me know if this works! ☺️☕️

@@lizhappybeans I’ve been grinding the beans on 4 with single wall with 18gr coffee. Taste kinda bitter but if I move the grind to 5 than it’s sour

Your crema was too liquified. Thats an error due to adding too much coffee into the sugar (notice the brown color and liquid texture). To avoid this issue in the future, add more sugar. If its too dry, add more coffee. The perfect crema is a golden colored peanut butter texture. 🙏🏻🇨🇺
