This particular jet, N52CV, has had something of an issue, and burned up. The fire has cause the FAA to issue an emergency airworthiness directive. aviation-safety.net/wikibase/231740

This plane is so awesome I need 2 million dollars. Plus the god awful amount it probably costs for maintenance every year. I want one of these so bad. It pressurizes and has oxygen right? You can fly over 12000 feet at cruise? (nvm you just said you were flying at 27000 ft)

cool looking jet and all but....Hard to believe a tbm 900 beats this jet in every single category. Takeoff dist 50ft obstacle, sf50 3100ft / tbm 2500ft (huge). Service ceiling, sf50 28k / tbm 31k. Time to climb sf50 20min / tbm same but to 31k! cruise speed, fs50 300kt / tbm 330kt. Range, sf50 600-1200, tbm 1200/1600! WOW. etc. every category.Jet vs Turboprop, how embarrassing

My question is, how do I earn enough money to buy one of these. Also, what certifications do I need in order to pilot it? Can I do it with just a private license? I'm currently an AEMT with 14 hours towards my private license.

I know it’s been two years since your comment, but you can’t possibly compare a civilian transport plane with a military fighter. Two different mission, with different goals...

they advertise it as the most affordable jet but yet its still $1.3M lol companys think your average joe pilot has 1.3M just laying around. theres a big missconception among companys as to what affordable really means for most people. not everyone is rich like the man who invented it. lower it to a comfortable 150k-250k then that would be kinda affordable for most people granted you would have to sell your house for it but aleast it would be possible for most pilots

so they cut the tape at about the 3min 13sec mark .. I presume they did so after swearing on video because of the near miss? I'm guessing it was a military jet crossing ahead of them on descent .. what happened?

Ken Spinoza Stone regarding overnight fees, it completely depends (airport, tie down, hangar, etc etc). Not one real answer unfortunately. Could be $10, could be hundreds. Depends on which airport you want to go to and where you want to park it while there. Just like car parking. Could pay $2 streetside at the meter in a small town or $80 overnight valet at the Ritz Carlton New York. No real answer to that unfortunately. For permanent parking/storage, it’s gonna be a monthly fee, but the answer is still the same.
