Very nice!!! Thank you again!!! You explain so well!! Maybe you can show us how to teach to the horse the inside rein to outside rein!! I saw the video with it but do we need then to teach before leg yield for this matter or can we teach it before and otherwise? Thank you so so much!!!

Thanks for this.... however do you have any advice on how to achieve the stretch position? My horse likes to poke his nose in the air rather than stretch nicely like Felix is doing!

Hi Kat, yes I sure do! I suggest to all my clients that when asking the horse to stretch, you shouldn't let all the rein go at once. Instead I encourage riders to gradually let the rein out stride by stride as this ensures that the rider still has a good connection with the horses mouth so if the horse does start to poke the nose or not seek the contact down, it allows you to send little signals down the rein to encourage the horse into the contact again. So for example, you might let the reins out a little bit over a few strides and you start to feel that the horse isn't seeking the contact correctly, so this is when you stop releasing the reins and send signals down the rein to encourage the horse to soften, and once they've softened you can then resume letting the rein out stride by stride. You might need to repeat this a few times! Hope this helps and perhaps I can do a video on this soon :-) Georgia

Will be going to hartpury as some stage, most likely as a spectator, Georgia there was a dressage horse keystone Diablo, competed from around 2007 to 2010 then disappeared, any relation to doogie x
