I live in Rothwell. If you visit the Heritage Centre they have a Jim Dale display. KGS building is still there in Kettering but is now the council offices. I understand he is a very private person. Go Rowell!

Oh love him, I adored Jim Dale back in the Carry On films era. He was naturally funny, that was his gift.

What a fabulously moving film… and the choice of music was brilliant. Excellent video.

Sad to see that one cast member died in 2010 aged only 48 years and that 2 others died in their fifties. I remember that this programme shared its theme tune with the game show Give Us a Clue.

I loved Mind your Language - yes stereotypes of nationalities but absolutely funny. We learned about the people from these different countries. Also the characters were telling Mr B about the English language. The music in this post is really distracting and too loud

I loved Jim Dale. This tribute brought back memories of queuing outside the Savoy in St Helens with the love of my life when I was 17. She eventually broke my heart while I was serving in South Arabia. Bitter sweet memories even after 60 years.

very interesting. I loved him in the carry on films and often wondered what became of him. Perhaps I drove past his house on my tour of upstate new york a few years ago?
@MarkMahoney2 күн бұрын
Wow cool, my estimation by what i read, his house is somewhere around 50miles north east of new york city
