Noticed in your video last year you were towing with a Toyota. What kind of tow weight is the boat and would you feel comfortable towing it long distance with a half ton?
@clearlycoastal210213 күн бұрын
Hi. I did have the tundra which I really liked. It was on the edge of the tundras towing capacity and I have since gone to a 3/4 ton.
@briancrowe838317 күн бұрын
I would just add that you can also get level wind reels with linecounters. These are quite useful when fishing from a kayak or other small craft that isn’t equipped with a downrigger, to help estimate your lure depth based on weight and distance.

A couple questions - where is the battery access on that 270, and where do you store your rods? Didnt see any rocket launchers.
@clearlycoastal21022 ай бұрын
There are two different battery access points. One in the cabinet under the fish table and the other is under the step behind the door to the transom

What was your boats fuel range? And was there ever any concern re not being able to reach a fuel destination? Did you take the opportunity to fuel up at every marina just in case?
@clearlycoastal21022 ай бұрын
Hey, I have approximately a 325NM range with this boat. I was never worried about running out of fuel. Did alot of plotting out of the route ahead of time so had a good idea of where I’d need to fuel. I did pass by a few fuel docks along the way.
