Appreciate this vid. I have a similar 321 Bose unit that powers on but which does not produce any sound. Was wondering what tips you may have for attempting this repair. My system is old and I am out of luck finding a Bose technician in my area (out of state). Thanks for any recommendations.

Could you help me ??? I am Brazilian and the repair of this equipment here is very expensive. The subwoofer bose acoustimass 6 series III without bass with sound in the boxes. Sometimes the bass made a noise, with knowing which circuit reinforces the weld ??

Thanks for the video. My unit had the exact same problem, so I replaced the fuse and it worked great! The fuse is made by Littlefuse and the exact replacement part can we bought at this link: www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/576-023002.5HXP. Please note that you don't have to take out the circuit board or any other parts from the cabinet to access the fuse. You just need to remove the back panel, so the job is much easier than the video shows.

I'll tell you what's missing from Bose... Quality! This is why i use Rotel (Roland), Yamaha, JVC/Kenwood (same company!), Mission, Eltax, Mordaunt-Short, Gale and even Pioneer! Even if it's not cheaper, i have a Yamaha DSP-A5 cinema amp from the year 2000, 20 years on it's still working perfectly! As is my now 4 year old Yamaha RX-V379, also supports 4K60p HDMI video! God that looks like a cheap nasty couple of chip amps in there.. A car stereo head unit is more reliable! Haha :D

What’s up with the pickle fork! Just use a 1/2” drive into the idler pulley. 3 seconds to take the belt off and super easy to get it back on. My 98 has the idler adjustment bolt and it’s the worst design ever from an engineer!

After you remove the bad fuse, it is a good idea to add an inline fuse holder to make fuse replacements easier.

It's a home theater system, dummy. Not design for music listening.

Mahnly I was given mine for Christmas and your right I was told 150 but there only going to say it can't be fixed. The problem is best buy suggested I buy a regular CD DVD player and hook it to Bose system because the door is broken and it won't eject. So hooking up LG DVD and CD player it keeps saying no disk. I've tried aux nothing and audio only. if I have it connected to DirecTV I can watch and listen to surround sound but directly to TV I can't watch DVD in the other player, Vizio smart TV doesn't have a tuner so you have to use a converter box! Should I hook that up first? I only have a cheap antenna I heard your VHS has a antenna? I'd like to get rid of DirecTV and get sling TV instead! It's getting expensive to cut the cord! Hopefully you can help Thanks
