Cool, the spec for the machine states max 16.5 inch tires but seems like it can go up bigger👍

The music is distracting. I’m only here because all the other tyre changing vids I’ve seen don’t have this adjustable top section to secure the rim. Plastic wrap to protect the rim is a must

is it possible to remove that vertical central axle which get out up the machine ? Because Citroen 2CV wheel don't have a hole in the center like most other wheels ( except a very small one to screw a central wheel cap). with this axle it would be not possible to have those wheels on the machine.
@ridgieproductions12198 ай бұрын
They won’t help with speed. They remain stiff so body won’t roll. They give you the extra couple inches of wheel travel while at low speeds.
@mattdudley37898 ай бұрын
Problem with these changers is, the clamping system will damage a nice rim, and in stock form they will change a steel wheel without much fuss. If you want to change nicer rims, you need a cone for every rim you want to change as the clamping system does not allow for true center. Cones are not cheap. You could easily out price yourself with a manual changer... Also a trailer rim can be done in the same amount of time with a set of $8 ( HF) tire irons. The bead breaker on the manual changer is useful, but a slide hammer breaker is about $50... Not saying they don't work. I actually have one. Sitting in a pile of stuff I don't know what to do with. Every once in a while I get it out to use the bead breaker

This is NOT like the Harbor Freight one. It’s more similar to the Harbor Freight one with the motorcycle attachment but still very different. I believe this is the one where most stock images have the clamps facing backwards (!).

I didn't know Walker Evans made the links for the rear of the XP pro. How was the ride? Any improvement with the small chatter and rocky trails? I'm in Arizona and the rocky beat the heck out of me, I just had Shock Therapy replace my upper front springs to something softer. Was thinking about removing the sway bars, but I really don't want to do that. I didn't see the pro XP's rear sway bar links on walker, Evans site, how much did you pay for them?

That’s what these are for, not more articulation but better ride comfort at slow speeds.

Doesn’t this effectively unlock the sway bars and make the sway bar float? Might as well just disconnect the sway bar for free.
@ridgieproductions12192 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say so. Yes, you can disconnect the sway bar for full movement when crawling. If your only crawling than that would probably be a great option. However if you're going to pick up some speed and turn, your going to want your sway bar connected. so that is where these come in, they allow your machine to crawl and have more movement so your machine stays grounded and when you want some speed, go ahead and these lock out so your machine won't feel tippy on corners, etc.

Sorry for long delay on added comments. I can personally now give these links every thumbs up!!! I just got back from Moab 3/2022 with (1) 1000XP Turbo Dynamix with Walker links and (2) Pro XP without Walker links. It was amazing the way the two machines handled the Moab trails. Both machines have front sway bars as well. The Pro XP without links was all over the rocks, wheels up in the air bouncing all over the place, it handled Moab without any problems, but comfort in the cab with all sway bars stock was rough. The 1000XP with the links stayed grounded and wasn't rocking nearly as much and made for a way more comfortable ride. I think its hard to believe with only 2' of added suspension, but apparently walker Evans got their R&D correct with these links. They are worth their cost. So much so, I just found out their are available for the Pro XP now, hard to find, but I got my cash on a set and they will be installed with a new video hopefully my end of April 2022.

These allow your car to sway from side to side while cornering. They work against what the anti-sway bar is there for. They work well at lining the pockets of the people who produce them. They look cool so your people will have to go get theirs to keep up. I'll take a huge risk (of being un-cool) and pass on buying them.
