Decided to join in last week, and so far I'm having a blast. Litterally as I got obliterated by LAC 2 days after I started, but I'm getting back on my feet and learned how to stay stealthy. I'll recommend anyone to join if you want to have a unique experience in SE, it's really fun and the new blocks/the universe/the sandbox all bring a new flavour to the progression and gameplay. Just stay away from LAC and don't burn too hard you'll be fine!

ngl if this server dosent have build and repair or instant build from projector or nanite mode, i wont be joining since in pvp, you can die extremely fast after spending hours building your ship up with welders >.>

We have crazy huge modded welders. You can print a 4000 block ship in 5 minutes with 6 welders

Those are fairly easy to get. Just hunt pirates around Jupiter.

Massive? Well it is large because of the block mod used. But I am not really impressed with that large block mod.

Keep in mind massive is in terms of a multiplayer server that hits 80-90 players every weekend. The max PCU for a ship on our server is 50k. If you’re talking about the 100k block monstrosities that the single player creative people make then sure it’s tiny but the scale for multiplayer is MUCH different.

@@alphamatte4259 Ya. I understand. Our server has the same amount of players. No I wasn't speaking of 100k block builds. My normal grids are around 15k blocks on average.

@@alphamatte4259 I don't have need for a ship that size for a small or solo faction. I tend to be about 150 - 200 meters long about 1/3 to 1/2 that in a width and 1/4 height. I like wider ships instead of longer ships. I get more room to be creative. Averaging about 60+/- large containers. I will be upgrading soon to something about 200 - 250 length and maybe 80+/- containers. I am already a long term player on the server that I am on.

can players build on the planets? Are there any PVE planets?

Yes players can build on planets. And there is ONE PvE planet but you can’t spawn there and it’s a dangerous journey to get there.

I wish there would have been a view of the repair people inside the ship. I can only imagine the terror in there while railgun rounds fly through the ship as they try to fix the propulsion ^^

Wish we had something like this in Star Citizen. I know the current server cap is 110, with Server Meshing pushing those numbers higher when it comes, so it's technically possible to arrange a server wide fleet battle at this scale, but it would only be possible given the servers don't just go derpy.

I discovered this amazing series recently and im addicted to it. Finding a whole SE Server dedicated to it... Oh man... I was looking around for a way to play off-line and nothing complete out there. Thinking about hop in the server. Im not a pvp guy and all my ships are bricks. Don't know How to design anything but a brick. This Server has frindly aproach? Or first thing i need on my base is a bunch of weapons? How fights work? Are consensual or "Ohh look! A ship. Lets burn it".

The server has a super friendly community and huge player alliances that anyone can join to have instant friends. Search SDX on the workshop there are hundreds of ships made for this server.

I was the one at around 7.50 gettin tore up by PDC fire, took at least 3 different ships to be able to take me off that point!! I didnt put Resolve in the name for nothing! Tried 5o upload my pov for the whole battle but my recoding soft captured my music in the background and yt said no.

Add a mod that the ship would completely explode if the hull is below 20 percent, because these flying junk look bad (( Well and it will help with fps and garbage in general Well it would be cool to see an expensive, slow nuclear torpedo. It's all plasma torpedoes, no real damage.

We use a top of the line servers and have a Nexus Cluster server that uses third party meshing to distribute population across multiple servers. We also have 10+ custom performance plugins that patch a bunch of the games vanilla code to make things run more performantly

Just to think that this was just the opening battle too, with several small engagements and then another massive one a few hours later to finish it all off. By far the best fighting I've been a part of, amazing!

I'm wondering. Can't you fake thrust gravity by using an event controller to detect the thrust level of any of the big thrusters to enable and disable a gravity generator?

Thrust gravity works fine already - if your thrusts are on it pushes the ship up against you

Do you have a video that explains all the differences from a normal SE server, and the unique building process?

The biggest two things are this - your main drives can only point one way (enforced with a custom plugin on server), and your weapons must be 2 blocks away from another weapon (enforced with a custom plugin on server). Other than that it’s just like normal SE.
