I do the same to my 01 Silverado. Its not perfect. It has a few dents....buts its reliable,paid off and It looks good to me lowered 2/4 on 20inch Denali wheels

I am 18, and it's a bigger truck compared to my 2003 ford ranger that's my daily driver, the k20 is old and needs a all new cab and front end and suspension work and breaks and a newer engine like a 5.9 Cummins or a 350 chevy , but the k20 is great for pulling trailers and moving heavy things the gmc 305 v6 makes no hp but torque for days.
