Followed this to almost perfection except with stone instead of wood. At "7:03" I'm having a difficult time getting half of the sloped roof to overlap with the other roof on the outside. I instead had to place the roof in regular alignment which means half of it clips into the inside of the hallway, i dont mind this too much but takes up some space inside and still looks the same on the outside. Is there a trick to this? I absolutely cannot figure out how to get this to happen. Any tips? Thanks again

You need to be playing with structure collision on. It's the most likely cause of why you had trouble.

@@spencerszeto1233 Yeah. Official sucks for that reason IMO XD. It is a setting inside the game itself though when setting up single player, or in the INI files if setting up a server with Nitrado.

It's just a thin pillar, 6 triangle pieces coming out of the top, and 6 triangle roof pieces on top of that! Really simple but effective.

You wouldn't be able to do the railings around the glass. Official settings don't allow for clipping of building items.

Amazing looking base. I was looking for a somewhat not very complex neither very basic building. Always did like to build with circular foundations, and i found this really perfect for me, a way better version than the ones i use to do myself. You can always remove the sloped wall underneath, then place the roof as it should be snapping to a quarter ceiling piece. Then you can put the sloped wall back. The issue isn't console vs pc. It is whether or not you are playing with structure collision on or not.

100% agree the Devs wiffed on the Greenhouse Structures. I love that mod, we use it on our cluster. I just wish there was an option to choose certain boarders, so that way you could have a clear center but still keep the boarder like S+ use to do. Other than that I have no complaints, 100% recommend to anyone

They're such great and informative videos. Your creativity is astounding and I can't wait to try some of these out in my own house. Did you know about the Bob's plant pot though? I see you have an eco mod on your server but you can get much the same effect with the Bob's plant pot.

@@kiitarie Ah yeah so you need to have the plant pot in your inventory and then use the shovel on any plant or tree and the pot will go green in your inventory with the plant. You can also change the size in the radial menu, as well as changing between the pot and a plant plot. It's really great.

It definitely came from the mod "Circa's Garden Deco" it would be in the garden planter. 10/10 recommend. It's a very simple mod.
