i can’t remember who told the story but it’s one of my favorite bits of norms that he just did for himself, but whoever is telling the story, is talking about how they’re on a plane and Norm sits next to them and they recognize each other, and the whole 3-5 hour plane ride, norm is just telling the person yeah I just got off cigarettes, they’re really really bad for you, etc. etc. and he goes on for the whole plane ride, and as soon as they’re getting off the plane the person telling the story, sees Norm almost sprinting outside and lights up a cigarette immediately, The persons of course like, what are you doing you just said they’re bad for you, and Norm goes oh yeah they’re bad for you I didn’t say I was gonna stop😭😭

Love me some Norm. But (annoyingly, I know this aint the place for it) I feel compelled to say- As someone who's gone through both melanoma and test cancer- chemo & the whole nine yards on that second one- as well as alcoholism. Enslavement to the bottle was far, Far, FAR worse a pain than chemo was. Got up to a like a liter per day, and struggled for over a decade+. The DTs, seizures, pancreatitus, and every other hell on earth symptom you can think of had no equal. The existential dread during those withdrawal sessions were legitimately worse than knowing I had cancer, and they were definitively more painful. Sometimes I find the "disease" verbage silly as well. Certainly good joke fodder as Norm no doubt knew. Just wanted to remind peeps he's a sarcastic savant. True alcoholism is in no way, shape, or form one of "the good diseases." If you know you know. Outside of maybe kidney stones I would take ANY disease over alcoholism. The fact that someone can experience those kinds of withdrawals and then STILL drink again later is a plight of insanity there's no coming back from.

Amsterdam was great. Went there on July 4th for four days and it was amazing. We’re walking down the street and there’s naked women in each window. And they were all reading a book. And right across the street from the main police station is the Milky Way. It’s a 5 story building with a farmers shop where you can get all sorts of stuff. And a bar on the second floor. And three different freak shows on the rest. A great place. I highly recommend it. 👍👍😎
