My 2nd grade teacher did smth like this and made us think we were legit going to Hawaii and getting on a plane and everything. After 10 minutes of hype and freak out she’s like “no just kidding we’re just having a Hawaii day at school next week” 😐😐

As long as it's at a Christian school and not a public school where not everybody would be comfortable or okay with it, it's fine.

Im not even gunna lie.. i yelled "pooool partyyyy!!" When the kids yelled the answer, lmao. Im glad i was alone because i was wrong and felt kinda dumb, lmao. If i was in the classroom with the kids and yelled my answer, i would've felt super embarrassed and dumb while everyone was lookin at me 😂😂😂.

I’m missing the point of this video. Are we supposed to be surprised that she teaches Christianity at a Christian school? I’m shook? (Is being shaken the right response to doing a thing at a thing?)

Awesome teacher but a shame that standardized testing has come to this point. It has nothing to do with education any more. It’s not a measure of student success but a measure of how well a teacher can prepare the kids to take the test in a 2 week blitz of rigorous drilling. Does it matter if the students learn the content or just how well they can answer the questions? You might say that is a measure of the same thing but you would be wrong. Public school education is preparing factory workers to meet the demand of the industrial age 100 years too late. Same ol same ol, whether it’s 1924 or 2024.

My family just (like 4 days ago) got back from our 10 day trip in Yellowstone and grand Teton (5 days in each). Plus four days of travel to get there. ( two on the way there and two on the way back. So in all a 14 day trip

Why are there two sets of Ten Commandments? Why did god have two bears maul over 40 kids for making fun of a preacher? Why does Christianity hate gays when the first Christian was a eunich. Why did the church decide to intentionally change the Bible in the 1920s to interpret it to be be more homophobic? The more I actually read my Bible, the less it made sense. Also there is no devil or hell in the Old Testament, why did he show up in the New Testament?

If it’s a religious school then that’s totally cool. But if it’s not then no. Because not every kid comes from the same religious upbringing. So teaching that religion specifically and not any others could make the students who have a different faith feel uncomfortable or wrong because they know school is for learning and they could feel like the religion they were brought up as is wrong because it’s not what you teach in school.
