The fiber must come into the house from somewhere, this is the outside installation, before the in home integration, there will be a push fiber installed running through the wall or floor depending on how the customer wants it, then from there the push fiber gets installed into the back of the modem creating a wireless signal throughout the premise

This isn't possible, the pvc is setting on top of a concrete footing, I dont believe this will settle, besides the pipe is simply zip tied at the top with extra slack so it can slide, these couplings lock together creating a water tight seal, so this statement is untrue

@@fiberopticmissouri164 Bullshit. PVC conduit does NOT lock together without properly priming and cementing the pipe joints. You need to watch more yourtubes buddy. Just search "how to cement electrical pvc pipe fittings". Then you can come back and correct your last post. Thanks

Sorry if my correction or work offends u, but u are incorrect, the pvc deffinatly locks together, so tight in fact u can't barely pull it apart, but incase of any repair, it would be wise to leave these joints detachable so u can easily slide a new fiber through, every installer knows u can't slide the fiber through such a bend when unattachable, the conduit is designed to be placed without glue

It's simple, the fiber goes behind the rubber seal, so we must remove it place the fiber in then reinstal the seal, ive seen people cut the seal but this method removes the issue,

It is so they can splice it in and still have more slack in case they need to splice it in again at some point in the future. Usually due to a break in the fiber further down the line.

That is a condux conduit splitter.. when u get one might as well get a fiew extra blades.. they hold up well.. but don't want to find yourself out on a job without extra blades..

No it depends on your area. Your fiber is most likely on the pole and they just bring a wire to your house

I'm unsure what u mean about a circle box.. im sure alot of company's do it diffrently.. but most will run the external half from your nid or the small box on the outside of your house that we show us installing on this video.. to the pedistool closest to your property.. the round box at the corner of your yard might be a pedistool for hooking to the main line

We also have the same method, but our ground rods are in the beds, not the customers yard, and u only need a line that is conductive, not grounded for location purposes, we actually get a better signal with it debonded

What makes u assume me didn't locate the lines? I assure u we did the job professionally with zero damage.. this video is obviously to show off the plow.. not to show u how to do an install.. there are videos that show locating lines.. but that's not this video

@@fiberopticmissouri164Depending on your state’s LAW, you must hand dig anywhere from 18” to 3’ within marked utilities. In your demo, had you cut any lines you would be held financially liable.

Yes we would have been.. but the lines u see in my video were already checked.. I have a locator.. but that has nothing to do with my video.. its simply a vermeer vibratory plow.. not a video on how to properly locate lines..

@@fiberopticmissouri164 I get it. But what I’m telling you is that you need to expose the line by handing first before you cross. Having a locator with you doesn’t mean squat. When you’re out crossing other utilities who’ve laid down their own paint, they can be off by up to 3 feet depending on the jurisdiction. Because “your locator” will not be able to locate other company’s facilities. Just giving you advice as someone who literally have watched excavators/trenchers/directional drillers see their whole livelihood disappear in front of their eyes because they didn’t due their due diligence. That drop you crossed over might only ding you a few hundred bucks if you hit it, but hitting something else in the right-of-way can literally cost you 10s of thousands of dollars. The line I crossed I installed just weeks before at 3.5 ft.. it was a bore under the road for the main line.. I did have him lift his blade out of the ground so we could hand dig the area.. but all the lines u see painted out I installed over a 6 month process.. no lines were damaged.. this area had water that wasn't on my side of the road except further down the line were I didn't show the video.. I did expose the line were I needed to.. but there was no need to dig up a residential area as small as the one in my video for a line that I put in.. sorry if u dont agree with the way I do my work.. but i am very good at what I do.. ive been doing it for well over 10 years.. now please let it be and let this video be for a vibratory plow demo

Yea deffinatly.. there will be a splice tec come in behind him and I stall "pig tails" then the installation tecs come I. And install it throughout the home
