The best beach camping in NSW? Discover in this video all you need to know about Pebbly Beach Campground, Lake Arragan & Red Cliff Campground, and Sandon River Campground in Yuraygir National Park.
We’ll explore three different campgrounds with our 4WD camper trailer. We’ll share useful tips, the most beautiful spots, remote beach camps, how to get there and other helpful information about some of the best beach campgrounds of Yuraygir National Park on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.
Lake Arragan/Red Cliff Campground and Sandon River Campground are both accessible for 2WD. Pebbly Beach Campground on the other hand is for high clearance 4WD only, the drive to this epic beach camp includes beach driving, soft sand and a saltwater creek crossing at Station Creek.

Pebbly Beach is lovely. Just have to time the creek crossing for the tides.

So impressed by Pebbly Beach’s beauty indeed! Everything around low tide is fine for that creek crossing. The park rangers were also really helpful!

@@bushandbay we’ve camped at Red Cliffs and loved it, had a site right on the cliff. The lake was a lovely place to cool down and just float, we even saw a kangaroo making its way across the water. Magic location.

Hi Guys, great video as well as the other ones you have on your channel. From a Patriot owner to another: I have a Patriot X3 and I’m considering to buy a new Wrangler Rubicon 5 doors like yours. Is this car OK to tow the camper trailer with ease? Have you had any issues with the Jeep? Can you make any suggestions or provide feedback on your Wrangler as a towing vehicle for a Patriot. We’ve been towing now for 60.000km without a single issue 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Average consumption (with 35’s) is around 16L/100km and you don’t even feel that you are towing a Patriot 😎 You’ll love every minute of your travels mate!
