As long as the songs they choose actually fit the characters, I don't mind companies like Gemmy bringing back the singing characters on a larger scale. Hell, one of the main reasons I love the dapper skeleton so much is because he plays Spooky Scary Skeletons, which literally is PERFECT for him. Also if they are gonna make an animatronic character sing a Michael Jackson song, pick one that is NOT Thriller please. I'm sick of it at this point. MJ has tons of great songs other than Thriller that they can use for a prop lmao

Also, in regards to this guy, it really would be cool for a sensor of some sort to actually be implemented. I really do love this guy. I think the sensor would just add even more to it

Definitely love this Santa! I’m actually glad they didn’t cheap out on him through the years like we all thought they would after the first model came out. This Santa is a god compared to the Gemmy realistic one.

@@user-oe5cw1uq9p Compared to most Gemmy Santa's this one is definitely over the top. I absolutely love him and I love the voice. Like you, I'm so happy they are just improving them more every year instead of cheating out like a lot of these companies do. Overall such a great piece of work by SVI.

Oh my God. This one has to be the best one yet. Especially the voice, but not only that I love the music. I really wish the company would make smaller versions of these because my room is not really that big. I wish they would make a table top out of this. Like seem nice base speaker, but just a smaller version that can sit on your table.

I have no idea how they could execute every detail but over all it's definitely an amazing life size and it could definitely be a cool tabletop concept. The over all design is just gorgeous on this guy. I'd say the design is definitely overall the best we have received

@@gemmybonez459 Yeah, absolutely. I just feel bad for Andrew Gold, who never got to see his song hit mainstream popularity. He passed in 2011 and the song became popular a few years later. Agreed about the animatronics though. it's amazing to me that servo props are being continuously released! I do wonder why it seemed like it started all of a sudden with Grim.

I would also add that the beard just looks SO perfect too. It's long and beautiful. Along with that, Like you said, the overall appearance is just gorgeous and over all I think this is the best classic take on Santa we have received by far.

He's pretty cool. I like the list. This one is different from the others because he doesn't sing. I do have a few issues with him. One the voice. It sounds a little young to be Santa and I wish he sang at least one song. Like I said I think it's interesting how he has phrases. It makes him unique.

I think I would agree. The voice I feel like could've been a bit deeper, but at the same time I feel that it's somewhat fitting still. I am very bummed there were no songs because I was for sure there would be. It is a shame but at the same time I absolutely love him in so many ways. This is quite possibly one of SVIs best Santas yet.

I actually do believe so as well. And the funny thing is that it's not even fully plush. He is genuinely built a bit like a Grave Raver and I absolutely love it! This is probably the best little plush-like animatronic that we have received from a retailer and I love it! Definitely a great concept. Idk how Big Lots pulled this out of thin air but it's awesome.

I definitely think he's worth it! Although like you said not everyone is fond of him, he's definitely grown on me and I think he's grown on many other people. Definitely agree. He's the best we've received in a good while.

This in my eyes is the best since the Gemmy ones, but this is a testament to how much effort was put into the Gemmy ones having lifelike movements. The servos on this guy are an excellent touch, but the way he moves is killing me- why he has to stop his head and body movements when he stabs and why he doesn't move his torso more is beyond me, and I don't know why he has to stab for so long when he moves. The movement on this is extremely robotic, even with servos, and I wish they would have tried to program him better. I also think just scary ambiance noises would have been a much better sound choice over this piano melody. Despite all that, he looks really good and a lot like the movie Mike, a very decent prop overall. Great review👍

@@scaretactics4489 Thank you so much Scaretactics! That means a lot coming from you. I would say I agree with you. I think he has good and bad aspects to him. I think you're right about the robotic aspect of it and I have to admit that his movements aren't as real as it could've been. I wish however that we could've received the Michael with the theme song or at least like you said ambience sounds. I will go to defend the melody only in the case of comparing it to that awful Gemmy ringtone Michael that has just destroyed the Halloween name. Obviously this guy isn't perfect, but I would say it's the closest we have received to a good Michael prop.

@@profesormacabro I agree with you on all of these aspects in regards to this Michael. I will say I definitely prefer this song over that awful ringtone that Gemmy used in their model. I would say that the animation does make up for it a lot. I really can't complain. I am disappointed about the song tho. It's sadly just not the Halloween theme. It'll be the day when we see a Michael with the theme song again.

I almost want to believe that they played their options and looked at what they could do with it. There's a possibility that they may have tried to dish out an h4 theme but unfortunately slapped it over an h2 Michael. It's not bad, but I am still trying to understand what it is about the Halloween theme song that is so hard to get a hold of.

cgi michael kinda touched on why it’s possibly hard for companies to use the theme and it pretty much boils down to contracts and whether or not the music producers want their music to be used and how much they’re asking for . For h20 michael I don’t remember if it was a “secretive” collector that said h20’s music producers had beef or if it was a halloween historian that said it hence why they used resurrection’s theme, iirc one of the music producers asked for a lot of money or for his music to not be used ALSO I Just realized that the music on this Michael is very reminiscent of the death theme that plays at the end of halloween kills during the town massacre but very toned down

@@spookylantern8897 It really is such a shame that the fate of a song hangs in the balance of someone who's being petty through beef with someone or something. Like you said, there is always the possibility that it's simple money issues. I know apparently the Halloween 2 title is much cheaper than any other title out there because it's not probably as popular and so it's easier to get ahold of. Unfortunately if any of these reasons are the case, I just don't think we'll see a Michael with the theme song any time soon. Until then we can only hope. I really appreciate that insight. It brings a lot into perspective. Also I didn't even realize that. I may have to see if I can find that scene and see what's going on with that.

@@cgimichaelmyers2806 Well the way I see it is that if they did Chucky as well as they did there's no reason why they can't with Michael Myers. I've been waiting every year to see if HD will produce a Michael and hopefully like you said, one with eye movements and hopefully the real theme song. I would honestly suggest trying and snagging this one. It's truly a good piece of work by Spirit.
