The underlying misconception over this whole argument Is that Yelá Never said a damn thing. subject of This whole argument Isn't even Yelawolf! It's that yellow book didn't say something/checkers DJ when it's DJ was talking shit and 5'9 heard him. You know something he ain't shit! Just because he scratches records and you do likes the way it sounds doesn't mean he has supposed to have some poignantt political commentary. In-fact, the matter is that things can be racial and not be racist. It's called context. people who hear something and think all wild about shit and your racist and racism because it's supposedly so wrong Smart man once told me You don't see Robin's helping Blue Jays out in their nest, Do yo? Because I've never seen it. If you have you might want to get a Polaroid camera and get some pictures and sell that shit to national geographic and get paid!!! Cuz they the only one is going to give you some money for that stupid shit!

It was definitely mid. He dropped a diss track too late. k Dot set the bar and massacred Drake to the point no one will outdo what he has done. It's why this Gambino track has been out 5-6 days on his KZfaq Channel and only got like 370k views. That's not good when you're dissing someone like Drake.

Kendrick and Lupe are not even on the same level. The only reason why we are talking about Lupe is because of Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick Lamar body of work is more iconic then Lupe. Don’t know one remembers Lupe is passed his time. Lupe just needs to sit down and celebrate the younger generation .lupe is too old for all this childish backbiting

NAS not being on there is criminal esp. because he is the GOAT. Damn, we were thinking way to literal. One guess early on was DMX. Once I saw Snoop Dogg, my next guess was 50 Cent. haha what a list... Funny thing, none of them are in my top 5.

Yeah it's opportunistic but what's wrong with that? Drake talks about money in every diss to every person so why can't CG say what other people said? The execution is the most important part. It's a diss track, not a tabloid piece. You don't have to "expose" some deep dark secret to have a good diss. All that being said I took this as a warning shot. Not just to Drake but to everyone in general who assumes he doesm6have the potential to be "that guy" because of how differently he portrays himself from other rappers. If you compare to Kendrick then yeah it's mid but with the context of what I said before I felt it served its purpose.

Lol aggressively mid. I think the tracks still fire. A lot of this seems to be grown men sick of drakes little "boy" antics. Ill never forget the moment I saw those damn colorful hair clips, cringe as f*ck. 😅

I think Glover is fascinated by Drake and his place in Hip-Hop culture. I think he showed that in that Season 2 episode of Atlanta in which folks were going to a mansion to get a selfie with drake but it was a cardboard drake. Lol I think Glover likes taking mid and mild shots at Drake because its his way of picking at the illusion of Drake because that’s all he is. He mocked him but doesn’t hate him,

Is it mid or do we just not have context for why exactly this beef started besides Donald seeing Drake as competition? Bc you don't really criticize the bars, just downplay the context. I'm also wondering why this started. Gambino has enough reasons now to dislike him, but given that originally he admired him I want to know what's up there.

I completely agree that they have incredible taste. Kendrick looked fantastic in Willy Chavarria clothes and he has an innate sense of proportion, both in clothing and in wide-lens shots. The pg lang site is minimal and chic. The Chanel short film directed by Dave and scored by Kendrick made it clear that they both understand film language (and seem to love Wes Anderson). I said after I saw the video for Not Like Us that Kendrick’s upcoming album will be his California album (all the greats have one) and last rap album for a long time or forever. Kendrick starts writing books and he and Dave move into film and maybe fashion. I still believe that.
