I went to follow the steps and I noticed that my car didn't have a fuse there at all, I didn't have an issue so I'm not sure if this was the issue.

@@glsteam215 if the fuse isn’t already there you shouldn’t need it. The original poster might have a diesel model or something. Sorry to hear about having to get a new tranny tho im praying I won’t need that

ive had this issue for almost a year. Definitely going to give this a go ASAP. The inner drivers side light has brake and turning lights but no running lights at night so it looks so ugly! Thank you for this video, very clear instructions:)

Just as follow up to my previous comment for anyone who stumbles on here for the same reason. At -6F my car also blew fuse 44 when shifting intially into reverse. Replaced with another 15A fuse when still in single digits and blew fuse again when shifted into gear. Temp went up into 20-30F range, put another 15A in and car was fine. Probably need to clean Haldex pump screen and do a fluid change, but cold will blow thr fuse and ironically take out the AWD and stability control systems.

I had my fingers crossed for finding this fuse in my 2014 with the same symptoms but unfortunately that fuse panel is not there😪😭

Don’t know if you know the answer to this, but I changed my gauge cluster from an A3 to the S3 one with the boost gauge and every single light came on

Is this same on tdi 2015 on my plastic piece that you take of to access the fuse box it say airbag?

I wonder if you get an alignment afterward ? Or you can drive it as it is after the new struts ?

You don't absolutely need to get an alignment if it isn't pulling to one side. It shouldn't because you're not changing the ride height or suspension geometry

Yes, the wiring harness only goes down the left side

i wonder how that aftermarket autozone strut lasted. non oem, aftermarket i installed lasted just 30 months. How did u do?

All of these lights turn on when I’m idiling but once I drive they turn off so you think that’s the battery?

Issue Happened to my S3 today. Fuse is intact. Ive been seein MAP sensor bein the issue but not sure as yet. Ridin to Audi wed

I have high doubts about it being a MAP sensor issue. If you are the same lights as I am it's most likely drivetrain-related not engine related.

@@Alans_Garage Crap. I won't officially find out till Monday Morning 4/24.Diagnostic guy not in on weekends. Once I find out the issue I will post what it was and the solution as well as how much it cost me. Hopefully if any other Audi owners run into the issue hopefully they can use it as a process of elimination.

@Alan's Garage Hey back with an update. So i took it into Audi and they did an extended road test but couldnt manipulate the issue. Go figure. Drove it home fine. Went to work fine. That was from wednesday. Today, saturday the lights lit up again. They did tell me if it happened again to let them know and they'll deep dive more. But the issue is probably like you said. A drivetrain issue. Where exactly the issue is they will have to find out. They will atleast set me up with a loaner for the time being.

Problem found. Haldex Pump Failure. ECM Module needs replacing as well.

Same thing just happened to me, popped a new fuse and it worked just fine. A few hours later blew the fuse again. Maybe I got a bad fuse I’m hoping the one I put it there just now won’t blow again.

Depends on how cold it is in your area too, I beleive that audi undersized the fuse as well. If it blows the fuse again I would try a 20 amp fuse but no higher. I have been running this without issues. If it blows the 20 amp fuse I would suggest doing a haldex fluid service and pulling the electric motor out of the haldex unit and cleaning the filter on that. The dealer haldex service does not call for pulling the motor but the mesh filter can get clogged up leading to it drawing more current then necessary and blowing the fuse.

@@Alans_Garage Good find! I have the same issue - got super cold the other day (-6F) and hasn't warmed out the single digits. Hadn't had any issues with the car (2015 A3 with 61k miles), and I know correlation doesn't equal causation, but it happening exactly with the real cold blast makes me suspicious. Went to start the car after 3 days of no driving in the cold, and it blew the fuse. Drove up to the FLAPS, got a new 15A and put it in (it is still like 10F or so), and it immediately blew. I was going to just wait until it got a bit warmer in a few days and try the fuse again. You think a 20A would be better? Fwiw, I think I'll have the pump pulled and cleaned too - or do it myself when it gets warmer.

Great Video. Anyone can do this. I replaced the lower control arm and balljoint plus the sway bar stabilizer and The rattling noise was still there. Needs a new strut. Thank You.

You should loosen and retighten in a criss cross pattern on the wheels. I worked in a dealership for 13 years and that's how all the techs did it.

Man this video saved my @$$. Hitting those ruts on the highway at 130km/hour in the corolls royce and hearing the wheels eat away the inner wheel well lining...is ta thing of the past. Thanks Alan!
