I am using soundcards since SB Live... yet Microsoft and Realek still can fuuuu.k up a simple thing like an 5.1 setting for users... It's 2024 and Windows sound settings still suuu.cks after decades. I really deaply hate Microsoft.

I realize this is an old video, but I just recently noticed that my realtek sound on an x570 motherboard is only allowing me to setup a stereo configuration on windows 10. It gives me no option to change my speaker setting to 5.1, only stereo. I've installed the latest drivers from both the motherboard manufacturer and directly from the realtek website. Any help would be appreciated.
