Nina is my all time fave female singer, have seen her live 4 times and have never been disappointed. She does SO many genres, she's got something for everyone.

It’s lo-fi on purpose, one of the few reasons black metal was created is because death metal was becoming too mainstream and polished, so they went for a more primitive, simple, and low production sound, that’s why solos aren’t as grand and sparse. Also it seems you like the slower riffs more instead of the tremolo picked ones, so I would recommend darkthrone panzerfasut, if you feel like revisiting darkthrone it’s like 80% down picking.

I find it impossible to grasp that you're aware of 70s Bowie but know nothing of the Pistols. They were the most notorious band in the world at one point and started the whole UK punk movement.
