Here 7 yrs post op, acl, meniscus and microfracture surgery…i was 8 weeks non weight bearing. Never the same but i still play sport. Knee is starting to swell more often now…probably due to the microfracture deteriorating

how can you tear your acl and smile some minutes later. I tore my acl playing football and for the next at least 30 minutes i was screaming like my leg was broken. I ve never felt so much pain in my life either the moment it happend or the next days until 2 months that it became normal and then had the surgery

I tore my acl and for 2 years didn’t know so I tore all my meniscus in that knee to then I got a ACL reconstruction a LET and a meniscus debrement and 2 meniscus repairs first things first the hardest part is the first month mainly the first 2-3 weeks and working the range of motion hurts the most second don’t feel bad for yourself becuase 200 years ago if you messed up anything in your body your messed up for life so it’s truly a blessing third there’s people that go through way more terrible rehab so yes it sucks but realize that you have to do it yourself my brother told me this”suffer in silence “ it pissed me off at first but it’s true be in the tunnel of suffering and inch your way to the light you got this. My pain was 8/10 maybe 9/10 when I didn’t have my pain meds but also the LET adds more pain than a normal acl surgery so ya. It’s worth it tho trust me pain is temporary bone pain is a meanie tho haha.
