Your placement of those fangs, bro. Just having them on the inside instead of the outside would have put so much more pressure on Orange Man. It obviously didn't matter, but man was it just flicking my nose the whole time. Also, that guy was playing way too close to the center. He was one solid flank away from a cascade. Then again, i love my flank plays.

Last week I was ranked top 160 in 2v2s. Yesterday, my friend and I lost 8 out of 10 games (and that was after a massive losing streak the day prior) 🤣🤣 I was thinking about doing some 2v2s for fun. It wouldn't be very strategic though. My friend is still somewhat new and we just vibe when we play.

@@WhoopedGG Dam that's unfortunate, would be good to have a more serious 1 v 1 series and then a more chill 2 v 2 series tho. Can focus on gameplay and ranked In 1 v 1s and just have a good time in 2 v 2s.

This is actually a pretty fun format! I'm very curious how you managed to setup chatgpt with this - but perhaps instead of asking them what to buy, you could in the future ask them "should I buy something or should I upgrade?" as that should give you a little more wiggle room and also feel more interesting. Also, perhaps figure out how to let chatgpt know the monetary costs for all these things and then also add your budget so it could take that into account? could make things a little more interesting and dynamic.

I created an Excel sheet with all of Mechabellum's stats--units, specialists, skills, equipment, tech, etc.--and established rules to follow. I included context on how the game is played, how the economy works, etc. I had precise instructions to follow. The problem is that ChatGPT's memory is very limited. It had a lot of trouble analyzing the document and following the rules I had set. There were a lot of problems, but just as an example, it would constantly use incorrect unlock prices, forget to tell me to unlock at all, or go over the supplies for that round, realize it made a mistake, recalculate, and do it again. It would get stuck in a loop. I tried simplifying it, but it was still having trouble. There's just so much information to take in. I'm going to work on it some more though.

@WhoopedGG4 күн бұрын
Thanks, Abel. I was actually just wondering about the timestamps. (1) Do you think it's better / cleaner to have it organized into whole rounds (for example, the pre-and start are combined into one round) -or- (2) Do you think it's better to create a separate chapter for the pre-round? So, there would be two chapters per round (pre-round and the start).

I know next to nothing about this game, I literally just saw it from this video so take my advice with a grain of salt since . It might help to create a flowchart/checklist for certain match or round predictable situations to help cement certain actions that can be forgotten as trivial (like ...round 5: pay range tax->check for abilities-> can you counter?->..., you would know more than me about what to put here). The only purpose of which is to serve as a backup that you know is correct so you don't let pressure get to you and clog up your memory. I used to use that method for pushing to win World of Tanks tournaments. My team would analyze team specific deployment strategies and log those into a map specific flow chart to exploit predictability so slightly different application, but I think it will flex into your needs. Good luck with the grind man, looks like a fun game!

With that missile you probably wouldn't have shielded those specific mustangs anyways. He didn't know you were going to promote, and you promoted the ones not targeted. You probably would have shielded your lvl 3 mustangs instead of your lvl 2s, which means you still would have lost. If anything, that "blunder," was more of a boon. He wins a round, barely does damage, but you're still set up for a future round win with your mustangs.
@marinauder7 күн бұрын
Shield would've been better for the tanks in the earlier rounds so the lvl2 tanks could survive at least 2 shots from the orange man, he one shot them with nano so it didn't add any value
@WhoopedGG6 күн бұрын
I actually wanted the Heavy Armor, not Nano. In the video, you see me kind of do a hesitation when I grab the Nano. It's because I meant to take the Heavy Armor. I cut out that part because I messed up the audio. But I did mean to take the Heavy Armor instead. I've been experimenting with using shields earlier on lately. I kind of like it.

My takes (1500 - 1600). Anyone who disagrees feel encouraged to let me know: So I think you blundered this game hard, which almost made you loose. It should have been a win by turn 5 or 6. You were doing really well turn 1 though 4. Nothing I feel qualified to criticize there. But omg turn 5. Let me explain: The situation is, you were absolutely trashing him in the chaff war and you see he's transitioning into sandstorm worms and wasps. You go sledge emp which is useless, since the sandstorm procs before they can hit the worm. Then you tech into you single pack of mustangs. Mustangs are not intended for or good at killing high HP units like worms. Instead, standstorm counters stangs, because it forces a retarget, prevents them from killing wasps and makes them run into danger range. Then you buy temp range which is bad since it doesn't really do anything to massivly swing the round in your favor and you are ahead anyway. Also you don't buy any units. As a general rule you want use both of you free deployments in almost every round (80-90%), especially if it isn't a unit drop round or you are forcing out an important expensive unit. What you should have done instead in my opinion is buy three packs of balls. In hindsight I also spotted you could loan and go replicate on top of that as well (probably wouldn't have seen that in the game). Balls counter worms if you are winning the chaff war and are better than melters in this scenario, since you would be pushing as soon as the frontline worm dies and they are cheaper. Once the worms are gone your lvl2, itemized mustangs are more than enough to kill his wasp. They also aren't realistically in danger of dying, since you already have a shield from last round which would protect against Ion or Vulcan's Decent. You would probably win the round even harder and win that turn. If not you, could add on more stangs and balls the next round and win then. Over the last couple of vids I feel like you are a little too attached to stangs. While they are a good general purpose dps unit, they mainly counter fangs, wasp and phoenixes. If none of those are present there might be better options, so you shouldn't autopilot to going/teching into them. Although in this game the pickup was perfectly reasonable due to the item drop and wasp being on board. However, teching into them and going up to 4 packs, while your opp was already starting to build counters almost lost you the game. Still a good game though as you put yourself in a hard winning position early on.
