i've been wanting to try making a sweater out for a while but all the tutorials seem so intimidating, but this one definitely wasn't! you seem so sweet and patient with it and explain stuff so clearly, i'm now more encouraged to make one than before :) such a nice video!!!

I usually don’t have the patients to do big patterns such as this but I am actually so excited to do this all because of how well you explained everything and how simple this pattern truly is. Thank you for giving us this adorable easy sweater pattern!

Hello Emily! I am very grateful to you for this video. After watching it only once I understood everything. Especially since I live in Ukraine. And it is very difficult to find understandable tutorials. I will look forward to the new video!Sorry for possible mistakes because I am writing through a translator.

I love crocheting, but i havent made any clothes yet. I feel like i could make this without getting frustrated and just giving up :D If i remember, i'll leave an update on how it went

Hi! This was a great tutorial. The only problem I have is the back of the jumper comes up when I wear it. It sort of looks like the back panel is shorter than the front but I have done the same amount of rows for each panel. Does anyone know why this happens?

I have a question ! so i'm making a sweater and i'm using acrylic that I want to soften after I finish the panels. Can i do the softening process at the same time as the blocking?
@dedel08102 ай бұрын
hi! i've been following your steps! but i wanna ask, do you do the invisible seam or do you do single crochet seam and change the color every time the color of the row changes for the right and the left side of the panels? thank you!

In the ribbing part you said exactly “you are going to not want to single crochet, just do a normal single crochet”??????????? What is that supposed to mean??
@Yenseyyy2 ай бұрын
She just means that instead of doing single crochet back loop, you do both loops rather than the other way around

hey! I'm kinda confused about the star graph, how do you continue it? After 4 stitches, do you add one more stitch in a total of 5 and so on? I'm quite a slow learner hehe
@user-bx1wr8ki7bАй бұрын
For me I just copy the star graph (8:23) you can goo back and just copy the pattern, Hope this helps.

For me, I'm using 5 ply yarn. It's quite warm. But i guess if u wanna make it for daily (especially if u'r living in a tropical country), u should use 4 ply yarn

Im struggling a lot with specifically the transition from the cuff to the rest of it lol, ive got 50 spaces where i can put 31 stitches and thats not a tidy number😭😂 im trying to decide how to space them out, weather to crochet them together or just skip spaces... Im considering just going back with a bigger hook just to do the like 31 stitches lol or maybe i just do a smaller hook to get 63 stitches idk Edit, i was using a 4.0 hook and im gonna turn the cuff i made into smth else and then try again w a 4.5 and pay atention to how well my number of rows will fit w the later 31 stitches lol

@franzi.p4 ай бұрын
This tutorial is amazing. I'm almost finished with my sweater - the second arm is still missing. Even though the collar and attaching the arm to the body panel was a bit tricky I got it in the end. Thank you very much Emily for this step by step tutorial, very beginner friendly. <3
@n3va3h.ra3Күн бұрын
how much balls of yarn did you use??
@franzi.pКүн бұрын
@@n3va3h.ra3 I used about 4.5 balls. They were 100g and 276m per ball. It was one ball per panel and one per arm and the ribbing and sewing was about half a ball. Hope this helps.
