When I watched his film I expected a very raw all speed prospect. I was taken back at his ability to stack and shed oncomimg blockers and also his ability to diagnose, react and FIRE to his respective gap. This guy will keep To'o To'o off the field. Maybe my expectations weren't high, but I was shocked.

That’s awesome scouting on Jamal. We were shocked to hear about his career at Oregon based on his athleticism, background in track and field, playing multiple positions in high school and at Oregon. He has a long frame, strong, and is extremely fast!

Unilateral horizontal projection. The step is there because of 1/2 knee starting position. It helps with triple extension especially emphasis pushing from the rear leg and punching down from the contact leg. Most of my athletes are only coordinated or strong on one leg, so this also helps with isolating the legs.

In the athlete world we wear tight compressions and also gps and heart rate monitors to help track our performance. Very common for athletes.
