Yes and you have to know that even if you stay with Dewalt they change models and batteries so you have to buy new tools! They do it on purpose!

They don't have a adapter for Hercules tools to Dewalt or Milwaukee batteries.

I hope this dude fixes his janky camera setup and sticks with the KZfaq thing. You can feel how genuinely excited he is about this adapter and that’s all it takes to succeed on this platform. I had the same response when I first saw that inevitable invention, great idea;) 🐶++

I bought one. It’s not much different as far as basic components from their big Avanti airless unit. It takes 15-20 minutes of cleanup after 5-10 minutes of spraying….. plus you lose a lot of paint in the clean up process. I’m finding that it splatters too much for a fine quality finish (for cabinets and doors) and applies way too much paint. I was painting some trim pieces with undiluted house trim paint. I had to attempt smoothing out the paint with a brush and roller which left way too much heavy texture. It’s a heavy unit. An HVLP rig is a fraction of the weight. I’m not sure what to try to remedy the low quality results. Dilute the paint and then have to apply more coats? Use Floetrol? Not sure. Jury is still out.

great video. what type of chisel bit did you use on your SDS plus rotary hammer?????
@BrianWingard15 күн бұрын
I saw your email but will add the reply here also just in case. Thanks for watching the video. I can not remember between two brands but I have both Milwaukee and Diablo chisel bits. Both will do a great job. Personally I would go with diablo from experience because all of my diablo bits, blades and whatnot have lasted a lot longer. The key is not getting too wide of a bit. 11/2-2 inches is a good size for this project. Too wide and it is tough to get through the asphalt. Brian
@BrianWingard15 күн бұрын
I believe this is the diablo chisel I prefer. amzn.to/3y6iLf9 Takes a little longer since it is 11/2 wide but goes right through it.

Amazon link says it will not charge the batteries on the charger of the tool brand.

That is correct. Whatever battery you are using you have to use that brand of charger. The adapter is simply so you can use the battery on a different brand of tool. Thanks for watching!

No, absolutely not...completely different charging system. Stay native to your battery when charging or you could burn your house down! 🤣

I bought this saw June 13, 2024 and have only assembled the wheels (one wheel hits the base plate so renders it a bit disabled- bad design) and the plastic dust guard ( has the cheapest little metal clips that snap out of place repeatedly just handling the tool) and noticed the base plate is such flimsy metal that it won't hold the saw blade straight vertically. So if you don't mind those three cheap as garbage factors then on to the next thing which is that I powered it up and it sounds ok at first but when the motor slows down it is obvious the bearings are already grinding in an unhealthy way. I will return the tool and try to plug in a different one to see if it sounds better. I can fabricate some beefier base plate and make it work if I can find one with a motor that sounds good. 200$ as a club member cost.

you don't need a grinder with a diamond blade all you need is your regular circular saw put a carbide blade for a few bucks & your on your way

No issues with applying the coating to a damp driveway?
@BrianWingardАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! They actually recommend having it this way. My guess it is similar to concrete and on a hot day if you do not have it damp then it will suck the moisture out of the product and possibly crack or not bond well.

I just bought the exact machine with the 20% Coupon so out the door for $319. I like the machine. It runs solid and does the job. I've seen a few videos by a guy named Doc on KZfaq who says that you should have a minimum of 8,000 cleaning units derived by multiplying pressure x gallons/min - so for this machine you get 3200 x 2.8 = 8960...so well above the sweetspot of 8000 Doc says you really want. The pressure washer is a good deal on the coupon. I've cleaned everything I needed to. My only problem is it vibrates so much...dances around all over the place. Grin. But it is powerful and pretty lightweight.

Does that hose go right onto the pump or do you need a fitting to attach it?

Thanks for watching. Harbor Freight sells the hose seperate and it just threads onto the pump. No fitting needed.

wow, wonder did you add any soap to the reservoir of the pressure washer, or did those results come from using water. Nonetheless big difference. thanks for the video
@BrianWingard2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. I actually pre-treated it with mean green. there’s an attachment on the pressure washer that you can spray chemicals and such over the driveway so I let it soak for about 15 minutes before doing the surface cleaner.
@JT-oq5js2 ай бұрын
@@BrianWingard Thanks for your response. What PSI was your pressure washer? I will try the mean green and pickup one of these from harbor freight today. To be noted a few weeks ago I poured out a half gallon of white vinegar on part of the concrete driveway that is black, and it turned it super white without scrubbing anything. Did not realize vinegar is that strong and would be able to turn black dirty concrete to bright white. Will use mean green , vineger, and dawn dish washing liquid as it has degreasing properties. Will post before and after video so you can see. Thanks for your video, response, etc. etc.
