I agree with everything except gold and precious metals. They have no real utility and it not readily liquid. If you asked me to trade gold for say my guns I would say nope. The future of currency is utility.

US created the monster called China. The US corporates went to manufacture their products and technology in a one billion people country. It ended making them riche and gave them the technology. Now they become the richest country and the most dangerous country too. Did the American politicians and businessman learned? No. They are doing it all over again with India. Creating a second monster. Why? Because Businessman care about profit only and for them cheap labor is what they care about. Politicians cares about what businesses wants because they finance their campaigns. If it was prohibited for any party or politician to be financed "bribed" by anyone other than government, you would see American governments enforcing prevention laws for businessmen to invest and export technology to big populated countries so it won't become a threat to their own country "USA". If you want to save America, try to bring back the manufacturers to US soil. And if it was impossible due to need of cheap labor, then don't put all your eggs in one basket but spread them all over the world and pick small countries. We have so many small African and Latin countries to choose from. Please learn from your mistakes. Americans created the monster called China. Don't create a second monster who will come to backstab you one day after 20 years from now if America was still standing by then.

The use case of any digital currency, including Bitcoin, is to support trade external to government (or any other) control. The purpose of digital currency, the standard by which it ultimately is judged as successful or not, is how well it supports trade in an anarchic society. I bought a book about digital currency back in the mid '90s, which explained and illustrated the use case. The point of digital currency is supporting trade for anarchists. Digital currency is intended for lawless--if not dishonest--people. Bitcoin turns out to be a poor form of currency, as it requires too much settlement time and fees for trades, even with Lightning transactions. Of course, it also requires a network connection at some point, which isn't always available everywhere, and has its own security risks. By the time that people realized that Bitcoin can't do its primary job as a currency of exchange, enough people had dumped enough money into it that it began a side hustle of playing a lottery chip. Most people buy Bitcoin in hopes of getting other people's money, rather than intending to trade it for goods and services.

In San Francisco- egregious is correct now for way too long. I lived in New York City in my 20s and early 30s- and it was off the back of exactly what he talks about- two mayors very much cleaned up the city- see "broken window" theory. Where even a broken window can give an idea of creating lawlessness. Add that into corporate real estate issues after COVID with shocking levels of inflation that will somewhat be an issue for a while...increasing poverty with no good plan for what to do still in action in places like SF (Seattle has at least put together tiny homes)...

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate of approximately 9%, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300,000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

Numerous opportunities exist to achieve substantial profits at present, but executing high-volume and nearly flawless trades requires the expertise of real-time professionals with an ISDA Agreement. This agreement allows investors to participate in sophisticated trades, exclusive to seasoned individuals, and unavailable to amateurs. Attempting to be a high-stakes trader without an ISDA is akin to trying to win the Indy 500 riding a llama.

Another front is Israel so they can blames Israel and Jews in general.

The data I would like to see is how many Americans are moving out of the country. Seniors are rightly more conservative in their spending and want to ensure that their retirements are either up to their standards and of course not lived in destitution. Those dollars are pulled out of the economy when they leave. Remote work has also made it possible for some to move overseas and due to the fact that housing is often cheaper and can help to counter inflation which is everywhere. Then you have Trump. He and his lies have had a polarizing effect on the country along with his socialist corporate tax policies. The disparity between the haves and have nots is so stark in this country that it’s becoming a demagogue’s paradise with the likes of Trump, Desantis and several others in the GOP. After the Great Financial Crisis of 2008-09 the Republicans caught on to the the fact that if you just keep telling lies many of the ignorant and uneducated masses would begin to believe the lies, thus they could blame their opponents the democrats and so called radical leftists. They used societal inequalities to start a culture war and subjugated women to their bigoted policies. Scapegoating immigrants, people of color and different sexual persuasions further dividing people in this country to the point that congress is essentially ineffective and people are sick and tired of it all. All this because of the fact that the Fed took the position that certain banks and corporations were too big to fail and used taxpayers hard earned money to bail them out and in the process opened the door for private equity to exploit the people even further. God bless America because we need a lot of help.😢

Our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Been hearing about the collapse for 16 years. I don't believe it will be a collapse like 2008. Most likely it will be a silent recession.where the top 12% will contnue to get wealthier while the bottom 88% become poorer through stagflation.laating into the next decade. Job will pay less while lower paying jobs increase with less benefits. Pensiins will continue to disappear while savings decreases. The financial markets and housing will continue to go up. Own assets such as real estate, land, equities ,and cash while decreasing stupid spending. The next 10 years will be tough for 88% of Americans.

The problem we have is government officials changing the standards of how we measure our economy to keep the public in their favor. If the FED is getting incorrect data by these flawed standards, they cant possibly get it right. Standards should be set to prior standards of 1970, and made illegal to change this standard. This political changing of standards are what has brought the nation to this point and it never should have happened in the first place.
