An excellent gender neutral term for a non professional sewing person would be a "stitcher" or a "sewest". :)

You need tight end caps for this, but when i made my own crackers i used a piece of cardboard and poured some wax on it and it created an air tight seal

I could definitely see myself doing this for say my nephew's birthday party, assuming he wants a pirate themed one... or an alchemy themed one.

why can you drink ethanol, but not methanol? They are both alcohols. I wonder.

How do you make the black powder burn more like a flash, to propel a lead ball. The black powder you made is good for cannon fuse, small rocket propellant, and demonstration. However, I live in a very rural area and would have to travel 50 kilometers to buy black powder. How can this be made to flash a lot quicker?

Fantastic. I subscribed. Didn't know it can be without Sulphur. (without loud music would be even better to hear voice)

Just Fyi: A tea soak can age fabrics in a Natural way and smells much better than bleach. What I can't Seen to find an answer to is: how Long to soak fabrics in bleach and how to neutralize it, without putting too much again in the fabric... Great Video though, i didn't expect the synthetic fabrics to be so extremely resistent. 😮

Thanks for sharing knowledge about alcohol.

Something people need to be aware of - flame color alone cannot differentiate between the alcohols, there are more factors that need to be taken into account. Just because it was blue does not immediately indicate it is methanol. For example, 50% ethanol burns with a blue flame at room temperature. Heat the liquid and it will burn with an orange flame. The airflow of the container will also change how visible/invisible the flame is depending on the air/fuel ratio. I don't disagree with anything in the video and you offer a great comparison but I feel like people are extrapolating the wrong conclusions from the video.

What limits the reaction time, evaporation? Copper cooling? Both? What if you infused a sand battery with either small shards of copper or copper tubing, then introduced actone. Would a sand bank slow the evaporation of acetone much? Also, would the copper deteriorate quickly in direct contact with acetone infused sand?

So all precipitation reactions are of the double displacement variety, but do all double displacement reactions generate a precipitate? Just curious... Cool channel, btw!
