wouldnt it be bad for performance to have a 2ndary sky sphere using transparent overdraw.... why not just add the stars to a material and lerp them in or out?

This is undoubtedly the tutorial that has helped me the most for my game, but I have a question. When I walk, the character cannot pass certain objects on the road, such as small street edges. I would like the character to be able to cross them but it does not allow me to do so. What could I do? For example, going up a ramp or stairs directly does not allow me.

This taught/explained more and in better detail through the 30 minute runtime than hours of udemy and other youtube playlists have in 2 months. Just getting animations to play on my arms has been a nightmare, You made state machines sound so easy comparatively.

Thanks for the great video. I tried adding some rotation to the stars skysphere, like you would see in a timelapse video. But the stars blur... not sure if that is lumen or a post process issue...

For those getting the bad size error/collision issues after adding the skysphere mesh, make sure to change the collision settings in the skysphere mesh, Can Character Steup Up On = No, Collision Presets = NoCollision.

@@underscore00 yeah I've been dabbling with this 2.5d aspect for the whole time being I never made anything that's complete tho but it definitely brought me into the realm of doing things inside the project and unreal as a whole this really was the start of the journey but the journey is not over but I hardly look at tutorials now but this is a perfect place to start for anyone who loves pixel art games and want to try unreal :) much respect bro I wish I had something in a state of showing off but it is what it is maybe in another 5 years when I can settle into anew project and put together something with all the accumulated knowledge over these years cheers!
