Uncommon choce here maybe, but I go with bow and varmint rifle instead of the bolt and the shotgun. i love the control that the varmint rifle has along with the satusfying pumps, it has a huge amount of ammo in the chamber so you can hit over a dozen heads in one dead eye, and the bow give you access to dynamite arrows and all that other good stuff aswell as stealth. all the other stuff in your loadout i do the same though

The volcanic is the most satisfying to fire and only takes 2 shots to kill so can conseve ammo quite well

It could be kinda cool to put it ONLY in Epilogue. In this way that would be more accurate. Maybe also the m1899 (i think it was actually created in 1900).

Ight, the dead eye is meant to be his over the years skill, being able to think where to aim in such short amount of time. Also as you play the story further, you can hear a ticking sound get faster each time you use dead eye.

Tbf I think the Repeating shotgun is so forgettable because you can't even try it out until you break John out of prison at the tail end of the game. You can get every other shotgun in chapter 2.

First off I know that people are gonna glaze the Evans as that’s a gun you either love or you hate so there’s no point in arguing over that. But putting the Landcaster behind the Litchfield is a crime beyond comprehension. Sure it may have a higher damage and 2 more bullets compared to the landcaster but the accuracy is abysmal. You’re going to miss 70% of your shots unless you use dead eye or take your time in between shots. I won’t lie there are ways to see past this critical flaw. One example is by aiming for body shots and not head shots, but when compared to the landcaster and it’s ability to shoot faster with a higher accuracy it’s not a close match.

I like to use the pump, the bolt action, and Micah’s revolver for my left while I use Calloway’s on the right. The “vengeance is herby mine” on the left and “Canis Canem Edit” (dog eat dog) on my right are both just cool visually. I know Micah’s isn’t great since it’s a double action, but at least Calloway had a Schofield.
